  1. It does look like it just rolled off the show room floor to be honest, minus the rust on the under side, but it could be a massive bondo job like Mitch mentioned.
  2. any recommendations for places to look?
  3. Mitch, amazing advice. I would be DD all winter, but I would also be taking amazing care of it and washing the undercarriage at least once a week to remove the salt. I would also be completely re-painting it before the first snow, not just a typical paint shop paint, but removing every single panel and tending to any rust that has started to build on each panel individually. I am considering coating the undercarriage in spots of high rust vulnerability with rhino liner or something similar. I have heard this is a great rust/salt protectant, and can be easily removed to check if rust has started to build under it, well relatively easily removed. However you are making me see that 5k might be to much for this truck. I have yet to find one in better condition however, at least cosmetically. I have yet to test drive it.
  4. 4750 is the asking price, no negotiation. I don't have pics of the body, but it is flawless, not a single spot of rust in the bed, or on the body. My intentions with it are to restore it, re-paint it, coat the undercarriage with some rust protector, and then possibly gear it for off road next year. Right now I just need a car to get me through the winter and have always wanted a jeep pick up more then anything n the world.
  5. Hello all, I am happy to be a new member here. And hopefully will be joining the comanche club as well with the purchase of this car. However before I do I need some advice from you all. Here are the specs on the truck. Jeep Comanche Laredo Year: 1987 Type: Long-Bed Pick-Up Truck Drive: 4x4 Miles: 107575 Doors: 2 doors Transmission: 5 Spd Manual Exterior/Interior: Burgundy Engine: 6 CYLINDERS 4.0 Liters Options: Cassette Player 4-Wheel Drive Air Conditioning And here are some pics, the undercarriage has some rust damage, I am just not sure if it is beyond sanding down and coating with a rust protector or not. Thanks in advance for any advice.
