  1. definately don't call him out, i tried that on another site, and the guy wouldnt sell me the parts, then again, he didnt have my money yet... i say call that beotch out... the least he could do is call you back if something personal has happened...
  2. love the 2wd prerunners with ranger ttb up front lol
  3. those smittybilt tube bumpers are CRAP.... mines got a good dent in it from pushing a fullsize blazer up my buddys driveway... my bumper slipped off his and hit the tailgate and that dented my bumper.. WTF?
  4. a 4.7 is gonna build more power than a stock 318 or 360 anyways, what were the latest 318s? 235hp?
  5. tried trading out the tube bumper, won't fit tj, and trying to get a guy with a FSW to come get the rear pos
  6. if i ever broke the fork, id buy a 2nd collar, weld them together, then slip them on and weld them to the shafts... when i replace the d30 it'll be trash anyways
  7. "it has the original flaking clear coat on the hood, if you know jeeps you know they all had this from the factory" I'm pretty sure mine didnt start flaking off until it was at least 8 years old... but hey wtf do i know? LOL nice jeep though
  8. lol, actually i think i found someone to take the rear, and if my buddy could find a way to bolt the front onto his TJ, it would be gone and he may be building me a bumper anyways... little at a time though
  9. bought this mj a little while back for $1k with a 3" ghetto lift and 31s... so far i have hacked the fenders, replaced the drivers side floorpan (still have to do the passenger side), removed the doors and now she's got 33s!! check it with the 31s first here now with the 33s whatcha think?
  10. lol.... same principal, no?

    22Rs

damned shame the 22re is a 2.4, eh?? it's a good engine, reliable, not enough power stock to break anything, and my 22rTe had 187k on it when i sold it, and at 12psi of boost, it would roll the 235s off at 15mph... ohh and i had it hood deep in water numerous times while XJs were not running because of that marvel of junk engineering where the distributor was located... want to talk about poorly designed??
  12. yeah, tb spacer is not a waste of money, for those of you who said it is, how many of you had carb spacers in the 70s when you were like 40 years old on your mullet-mobile fbodies? same principal... turbulent air helps to atomize fuel better.... you won't get instant power gains, but with a bigger TB, freeflowing injectors and better free-er flowing exhaust, it will work
  13. when i bob and narrow the bed, and put a cj tailgate in, I'm runnin caddy tails... a little bling for the trails
  14. don't feel too bad, i have an MJ, stuck on jackstands because apparently i called the guy who has the 33s i want, too much wanting to give him my $$.... oh well, time to move on and find some more cheap tires lol
  15. i think it'd look best with a stock hood with a reflexxion style cowl at 1.5" and maybe 2" wider... just my $.02 and not like i am able to do it anyways lol
  16. i had an 88 XJ with a 4.0 that had stock manifold and down pipe... no cat, a 40 series flow where the cat used to be with a chrome tip clamped on it... sounded great, loud as hell, PLENTY of power... the MJ will get a 4.6 stroker eventually... APN header, and 2.75" downpipe to a 50 series flow single in dual 3" out with dual exits right behind the cab... and should sound good
  17. hess trucks hotwheels with steel bottoms

    Myth...

don't know about that, but a couple years back you could order XJs RHD in crates to assemble, had to buy all the rubber seperate though
  20. that's entirely too much.... why buy a 2wd truck? isnt that like buying a v8 fullsize truck for fuel economy?

  22. pete, do you think you have more or less travel now than you did with the stock suspension style of 4link? did you use the ford coils? also, i read somewhere that if you swap the coil buckets from one side to the other on the axle, that it gets the springs closer to lined up.... and what did your axles come out of? an EB? f150?
  23. jeff man, that aint VA where yer at... looks like florida... nice hat, btw I'm josh
