The one listed in Maurice,Ia. is about 10 miles away from me. Texted the owner. It has 204,000+ miles and the body has been redone. Haven't gone and looked at it yet. Don't know if it's worth what he's asking.

Hard to believe that's the original paint. The pinstripes are screwed up on the back corner. Still a nice looking truck. The word "Eliminator" is missing off the bed too.

Nice factory rollbar. Interesting-looking seat buckles, never seen that kind in a Comanche. It appears that your spare tire carrier is broken (the unraveled steel cable underneath the back end). Write-up somewhere on here to fix that though. Good looking truck.

I would had to pass on that price too. I went to the JY this last week and found three '86's in there. Pulled one decent set of tailights off the first one I came to, the second truck I could only get the passenger side off. The driver's side had screws which were rusted in the bed panel, had to leave it cause I forgot to bring my drill. And the third truck had cracks in the plastic. I ended up giving $22.80 for the set I got. I too, am a hoarder. lol. Also scored a nice tailgate for $35.

Great idea. Will it stay up there when your cab roof gets hot in the summer or did you insulate the roof before gluing the mat on? Keep us posted. Might go this route on mine.

You left off the 'Comanche' emblem on the fender or did the body shop forget to put it back on?

My bench seat ripped in about the same spot because my hinge bolt on the seat snapped in two. The broken bolt tore into the side of the seat that next time I drove the truck. Since then, I 've installed nice factory buckets out of a '92 Cherokee Laredo. You have most of the options I 'm still searching for, like the rollbar, mudflaps, hitch, foglights. Very nice truck by the way!
