Mine does this too; but my pedal is also very spungy and goes almost to the floor. The brake light also keeps coming on even tho it is full of fluid. My booster is definately the cause. Good time to upgrade to a double booster

Defog was not an option for an MJ. The PO probally grabbed the switches out of a cherokee when he hooked up the fog lights. The power/comfort switch with a standard. That I don't understand :hmm: -
Were there any MJs that came with a full center console and column shift? If so, was the black insert different? What fill the hole where the shifter/gear selector goes?

No Pete, Someone actually drew the front and rear axle using something like paint or illustrator and drew in the brake lines showing which port to plug and stuff. There was alot of info in the thread

Did you switch to synthetic? It may have cleaned up a bunch of gunk and clogged the new filter, and don't use a fram filter. -
Thanks 64, but thats not it. The one I'm looking for someone used illustrator or paint to draw the axles and the brake lines. For some reason I can't find it.

From what I understand, if you are willing to pay the 4500.00 you can buy them. But ,of course, 99.9% of the cars arent worth close to that. :fs1: Unfortunately, american's have decided to trade their freedom for convenience.

AGH!!!! Rust in the floor board..
maddzz1 replied to clarkerussell's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thanks for the help guys, after reading the above post, I think I'm going to tackle this with the help of a friend. I am planning on getting one of the floor boards from eBay, but I don't know what to do about the reinforcement piece that forms a cross on top of the pan. It does not look like that's included with the replacement pan and mine is pretty rusted in the front half. Any ideas? Clarke I think alot of people use C channel to make those and weld studs on to mount the seat too. -
That worked Pete. Thanks

I am looking for the thread about removing the height sensing valve. The one where someone drew some diagrams asking which was the correct way to do it.

People are quick to scream ban??? It has been 9 MONTHS. Yes, Pats posts and knowledge are very helpful and appreciated but that doesnt give you a pass on screwing another member. Yes, Pat is having some problems RIGHT NOW but HAS BEEN BEEN EMPLOYED for the majority of the 9 months if I remember correctly. A deadline for re-payment should be established between the 2 involved.

Doin some brake swapping, need guidance
maddzz1 replied to bigalpha's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Does anyone have the link to the post where someone drew pictures showing how the lines should go? -
Last night it was raining hard on my way home from work. When i got home i noticed my passenger side kick panel, lower dash were wet and there was a small puddle on the mat. After looking the water had come from up in the dash. The wiring in the dash around the knee board lights were all wet. There was also water up on the dash on the pass side that appeared to come in thru the defrost vent. I had put the defroster on with the temp slid over to cold before driving up a street with many puddles. I know this just pulls air in from outside so is it possible it also let water in?

Not sure about the 99, but with the 95-96 booster and prop valve you plug one of the ports on the prop valve and run a single line to the rear axle and remove the height sensing valve. I will see if i can find the post
