  1. great job, can't wait to see the finished product.
  2. Open their car door and poor some down the vents. It will smell whenever they turn the heat on. Raw chicken can also be used. :ack:
  3. Pedro? Has he gone down to apply for food stamps yet? :rotf: j/k Those old garages couldnt have been built for cars, like you said, when they were built the cars were twice as big as the garage.
  4. ya, it was not an expensive option. makes you wish you could go back and be the buyer right? Yeah, you could tell them to keep the AC and put an extra axle and set of springs in the bed for later on.
  5. This will be the year you prove that you don't need knowledge to be good at FF, I believe you would have done it last year if not for the injueies Pete.
  6. The big ton package was cheaper than the AC? :hmm:
  7. We need 12 people just like last year, whos in?
  8. I replaced my bushings the other day and this helped alot rich. Of course, once again, I had a screw left over when i was done. :hmm:
  9. Very nice Don. I have never heard of city lights either. where you are wouldnt they be booni lights?
  10. If you are just trying to get an idea of what it looks like, a few pages (page77) back from the digram above is pics of all the connectors, the fog light one is there too.
  11. Before you put the carpet back in, use Petes idea of sprinkling some baby powder around on the floor and hit the truck with the hose to see where the leak is. Yes you can reuse seatbelt bolts oh, by the way, I hate you :fs1: my floor only has about half of it left
  12. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12734 page 93 shows the harness. don't know if it will help
  13. Detailed 231 rebuild w/ pics: http://www.moabjeeper.com/articles/tech ... icleID=395 Some really good pics of the insides of the 231 (pics 4 thru 7): http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo ... 3667BviIXL
  14. Maybe Pete or someone can post them in the list of links thread.
  15. Here is a link that explains gear ratios for us simple folkss who get lost when people start talking about gear ratios, crawl ratios, couplers and things like that: http://www.bb4wa.com/articles/TransferCase.htm Thought this might be helpful for some people trying to get a little more indepth knowledge. Anybody else have any good links, please post them
  16. The one I was looking at had fixed yokes, not a slip yoke. It listed comanche as one of the vehicles but I had never heard of it. thats why i started this post
  17. Doesnt GVW stand for gross vehicle weight? Rhode island has a rediulous rule. When i went to register the mj i just guessed at the weight. It was obvious that it was wrong, which wouldnt have mattered if it was a car. but with a truck if the weight is wrong (off by more than like a couple hundred lbs) they wil let you register it then suspend the registration when they verify the weight and you have to pay all fees over again.
  18. So it is just an older version of a 242? sort of
  19. Is it a good upgrade for an MJ? No slip yoke Looks like it won't work with a driver side drop tho
  20. Maybe that filter was made by Fram :rotf:
  21. Well it never mentioned anything about ghey. But I guess it could be viewed that way.
  22. This is a very good possibility too. My first attempt at drum brakes, should be fun
  23. Is that a common upgrade? OEM parts? What does it do? Just helps with the pedal effort? If you get a booster from a 95-96 XJ it will bolt right in. You just have to grind down the end a little. If you can, get the brake pedal and brakelight switch too. If you keep your brake pedal you just have to do a little modifying to get the brake light switch to work viewtopic.php?t=4968&highlight=prop+valve If you scroll thru this one it shows the 95-96 how to: http://www.madxj.com/MADXJ/technical/te ... pgrade.htm
  24. My favorite joke thread has vanished?
  25. Yeah, Bob. Took a while but I found it. Bookmarked it this time.
