I agree. He should not part out the truck, the more parts that are sold off the harder it will be to sell the remaining parts. I don't see very many HOs for sale around where i live

I know of shippers who routinely put the weight of packages as less than they are. If you do it right you don't get caught and you save on shipping costs, if you get caught you get re-billed for the difference. Shipping weight is not a good way to work off of. It sounds like he ordered 2 trackbars that were not included in his order(and possibly other suspension parts). We don't really know what all is missing from his order at this point. Yes we do. He said he didnt get the soa plates, control arms, coil springs, shocks or any suspension parts other than the trac bar. He also said that the weight of the packages matched the weight on the shipping invoice. I have not ordered from MO but this is not the first time someone has had a problem with them. Why are people so quick to assume that the OP is wrong.

There is also an inline fuse for the TCU right next to the TCU under the passenger side knee panel. Check to see if that fuse is good.

Steering Column Swap - 90 XJ Limited to 87 MJ Base
maddzz1 replied to AMCJeepMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
here's one (w/ a pic): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Wip ... 911.c0.m14 -
Mine is doing something similar. No fluid leaking brakes are very soft and pedals goes to the floor. Brake light on dash comes on and stays on until i push the pedal down as far as i can then it goes off for a while. I am just gonna swap the booster and master for one from a 95-96 XJ, with those years you don't need to swap the push rod, just have to grind a flat edge into the round end.

Manual window won't roll up!
maddzz1 replied to mj2stay's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Found it: here's how to do the repair, just scroll down a bit viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4826&start=135 Once the rivets are out you can take the whole regulator out with the window. Probally easier to just get a new regulator than do the repair. -

You need a new window regulator. There is a piece that tends to rust and break. It has probally broke off at the end and thats why it will "catch" when you start it by pushing it up. Mine is doing the same thing. Just need to pick up a rivet gun to put the new one in. I will try and find a pic of the part. -

AC cutting off when accelerating in 4th/5th
maddzz1 replied to Jess's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Head lamp delay: If you shut the truck off BEFORE you turn off the lights they will stay on for like 30sec or something like that giving you time to walk to the house and then turn off. -
The tach will work without any mods. You just need too swap the temp and oil sender for the ones for the gauges. You are gonna have to either mod the cluter you have to add the gear selector or buy the kind that you mount on the column.

Fuel pressure regulator maybe

Yeah, that has the "tower" type baffles like a renix, but the hoses on the top are for the HO style 91-??, not positive which year they switched to the single, long baffle

Check Your Battery Cables!!!
maddzz1 replied to Wildman's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
very nice detective work. -
do you have un-insured motorist insurance? In my state the car that actually hit you would be responsible for your car (the guy with no insurance) even tho he was pushed into you.
