  1. I got no cash, we are in a recession man, did you see the stock market yesterday??? Wade, you're just a big tease talking about how you're gonna be a big stroker and all!! Yeah, 777 points, biggest one day market fall ever. IBut you know, I've been surprised how long it stayed in the 11 thousand range for the past few months. I have been crazy this a.m., I wanted to see why Apple fell 20%. You're a computer guy, have you heard why? I say might be a good time to pick up some shares.
  2. No chance to hang on to it and get a cheap import for a DD? Too much work by you guys and too nice an MJ to just let go.
  3. do it!! :D
  4. Wicked cool! But, from everything I've learned here, I can't believe he hasn't blown out that Turdy-Five with that kind of power? And even more unbelievable is that he didn't replace it considering what he's got in front of it?
  5. Um, ok, still waiting for some cool looking 97+ interior swap pics, i.e completed swaps......
  6. :rotfl2: that was cruel but hilarious. Does Uncle Terry know you routinely kill him off for comic relief or bogus sympathy? Is there really even an Uncle Terry LOL?
  7. That's because of the glare coming off of that Disco Purple!
  8. if you are looking for stock OEM, i hope you know getting a new one isn't very likely. and, getting a used one in good shape is not easy either.
  9. I thought if you added it to the oil you should only do it just prior to an oil change, not necessarily as an additive to leave in there for any real amount of time or miles. :dunno:
  10. cool! well like i said in the beginning, no intentions at this point to switch over, but if i ever decide to do the front end, i'll be going for the full monty with the interior too. 99MJ, assuming the interior is now complete, can you post up current pics? or are there some on here somewhere i overlooked?
  11. Re-up your crazy... re-up your outa your mind...... Know any 45K's?? Wow! Re-up and a re-thanks! Seriously, that is very admirable. Be safe...
  12. LOL, yeah, I was the last one to post on that first thread link. Duh! Well, as I said, I knew I had seem some pics, but again not the final product. It has been 3 mos since his last update, I'll PM him to see if he's got new updates. And 1999MJ, you said in that thread you have done this, do you have pics you can post up? **EDIT: 1999MJs was the one I distinctly remember seeing before. Cool.
  13. And why would you say you need to do the drivetrain? Wiring harness/electrical I would assume?
  14. With all the talk about changing over the front clip and doors from 97+ XJs, has anybody here done the full makeover to include the interior, i.e. dash, console, EVERYTHING? When I first got my truck and was all over the net I remember seeing pics of one in progress, but I've never seen pics of one completed. I know I've seen pics of a couple MJs that had the exterior mods and the author mentioned it had the interior mods also, but no pics were attached. I believe there was a nice yellow one that supposedly had the full changeover and if I am correct that truck was rolled recently. Anyway, would love to see pics of a completed interior. If I was ever to entertain the 97+ exterior stuff, I would just want to go all the way and do the interior too. :chillin:
  15. If that XJ pack you say is "at your disposal" means you can break it down, you could add the main leaf from that. As mentioned, XJ packs are flatter, and I'm not sure if RE obtained their 3.5" through custom arch specs, add'l leaves, or both. Soooo, I'm not sure what that main leaf will give you, I'm guessing 1", maybe a little more. You could go to the yard and see about just getting an MJ main leaf out of a pack. Cut the ends off and place that under your main leaf. It will be a better fit than an XJ main leaf and because of the greater arch may even offer more lift than what you steal out of that RE XJ pack. No idea for sure, but a thought. The 6 leaf pack I have for sale *appears* to have either another MJ or an XJ main leaf in it simply because the pack is semi-loose and the leaves all seem to have the same arch. The other leaf was added in between the second and third factory springs. I never had them on my truck as I was looking for true Metric Ton springs and I got these from car-part.com where the JY described them as MT packs with a "helper". Not true. Anyway, found my MT packs and now these are available. I hope this helps give you ideas for other options, unfortunately I'll need other members to chime in on how much potential lift you'd get if you chose any of these ideas. Good luck!
  16. Lookin good Jeff! LOL, after this you'll have to share the short list of parts on the truck that are actually original vs. replaced/upgraded/modded.
  17. Vented ones were an option for sure, I'm just not sure if there were certain years they were or were not available. My guess is they were available all years. I had vented ones and switched to fixed because of the leaking and wind noise. Now I have A/C fortunately, but I'd never go back to vented. Assuming you don't have A/C, I would suggest getting a sliding rear window in lieu of vented quarter glass. JMO.... ;)
  18. Well, I can make it easy for you by selling you a 6 leaf MJ bastard pack I have! :brows: PM if interested.
  19. I think I may have told you once before Don, but I had the pleasure of attending the Iron Bowl in 1986 at Legion Field. Bama lost 10-0 but it was definitely an experience of a lifetime. Going to Dreamland BBQ that is LOL, and the game was fun too!
  20. Looks very sharp for sure! I tell ya, I typically prefer the "original" look for my own truck, but every time I see at 97+ conversion with a set of Rubi's, man it just works!
  21. Ever heard of Trades? /I'm just sayin' i was just thinking this morning #2 that nobody had attempted any trades yet and i'm a little thin at WR, so Mr. Cutler may be going on the block for a decent QB and an upper tier WR. Anyone? Anyone?
  22. I am so confused. I assume this is from the bottom of the flare to the center of the wheel/hub? On a lift thread recently a similar question was asked about these measurements, and Eagle provided 21.5" for the stock rear, and 19" (?) forthe front I believe.
  23. Sigh? Sigh?! That's what makes it fun! Now go find that slick waiver wire pickup!
  24. To help save on his porn site access fees, Chico would like you to post pics of said "2 rows deep MJ yard find", as he is confident he would have the same end result staring at that image as he does looking at dirty bee-yotches. :needpics:
