  1. it'll be a sad day in America when the American people get their facts from the government. I can't figure out why people would rather see this country fall apart rather than picking it back up and putting America back on her feet and the people taking control again. "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." - BF the NRA aren't true supporters of the 2nd Amendment in the first place. GOA is a true supporter, and they support Ron Paul, because he's the only one who is working to protect our rights, the Constitution and isn't anti gun control like obama, hillary and mccain.
  2. Image Not Found couldn't get the camera to focus on those, should have put something else behind them. don't have a clue what they are for.
  3. :clapping: :rotfl2: good way to start the day off with
  4. good lookin' mj you got there welcome the club
  5. best one i have heard yet.
  6. damn politics. i hate it. :hateputers: we need to restore order and change the political system back to the republic it used to be. the american republicanism, not this socialism bs that is going on, or this democracy. our founding fathers warned us about the evils of a democracy. pssh :headpop: what a headache it all gives me. but it's like the evil attraction to money, it's hard to break.
  7. finally got the shaking fixed. mechanic wasn't any help at all, lucky he only charged me a dollar for a hose he put in to fix one of the vacuum tubes that had a big hole in it. my dad and i put in new plugs and wires and she's running like a top again, all shaking has ceased. feels like she has more power as well. :beerhead:

    Howdy!

    welcome aboard
  9. that is what my dad assumed, he figured it should be zero resistance. so we went and tested the old wires and we did notice there was a resistance difference in the lengths of the wires. we got around 7ohms on range 20k for the mid and longest length ones. about 6ohms on range 20k for the shorter ones. we put in new plugs and wires today. the coil wire was definitely corroded. and it made a HUGE difference in how the truck rides now. it runs so much smoother. i took it up 40 to 50 at least six times since we did the tune up, and she has been running like a top. but i am going to give it a few days to see if she starts shaking again before i declare that the shaking is gone. i got my fingers crossed that it is.
  10. figured someone would say that. :D i will get some, as as soon as i find a camera and a find the mjs around town again.
  11. should any of the wires have any resistance to them at all?
  12. i was driving to the mechanics house and as i pulled up to the street light, i saw this glowing beauty coming towards me, she pulled up across the street turning left. a nice color red, had a winch, slightly lifted, and a few other things on her, looked like she was used by a fire chief, hehe old men like you guys. i wish i would have had a camera with me, i would have snapped some pictures. i have seen a few around town. none for sale  i will start carrying a camera around with me, snap some pictures. they are all in pretty good condition. the one i told you guys about (doubt ya'll remember) sitting at the gas station is the guys truck, and is going to be his sons once he gets his grades up. talked to him today while i was getting gas there and bull$#!&ted with him for a little bit. so trying to cut a deal there isn't an option. all the ones i see around here are dds it looks like. there's a really nice red j10. i will get a picture of her, she's a beauty.
  13. well i am taking the mj to get it checked out today here sometime in the next hour or two. my dad's buddy's brother and i are going to figure it out. luckily he knows quite a bit about these mjs. i will fill you guys in with what was wrong with it when i get back on later.
  14. nice. we got a dysfunctional rainbow at my house. grey chevy van, green buick, brown honda accord, white mj, a maroon bmw 2002, and a partial red/primer grey triumph (except you can't see the triumph, it's in the garage completely dissembled). can't wait till my dad sells the house and gets a place with a shop. we'll be busy swapping everything from the bmw to a rust free body, and reassembling the triumph.
  15. somebody likes red. that willys is beautiful. well so is the mj. i wouldn't mind havin' the dodge either.
  16. You can try... http://crazedlist.org Wahoo... I saw that one listed... looks VURY nice...and to "bump", I think you have to "relist" your item everyday, or at least it seems like that's what's happening... that site works perfect. now i can keep a good eye on all the jeeps around here. thanks. i would delete mine and then repost it every day. it helps because if someone just clicks on cars&trucks it'll show up on on the first page. i made sure mine stayed up top around my area.
  17. couldn't tell you, but it's still sweet.
  18. down in cali. she's a pretty one. how do you do a national search on craigslist, i have been trying to figure out. i always end up having to come back here and click on the sticky. or is that the only one way?
