  1. Well if it's boiling out, ya your overheating. Let us know if the fan clutch was the prob then. Good luck
  2. How much are the UCA's that you want?
  3. I like the round better. Sorry
  4. Try looking up VW's hose for the 1.8T. They're readily available and you can probably get em cheap from a junker if they fit the Libby application.
  5. You know T, I said the same thing to my wife and she just hit me....really hard.
  6. Mine does. So if it's not supposed to mines @#$%ed too. Did you verify the temp yet?
  7. If you take the cylinders out of the doors and take them to a locksmith with whatever key you want to use (like your ignition) they will rekey each cylinder for about ten dollars. I went and asked today.

  9. Ya, but that doesn't mean anything. Is coolant blowing out of the pressurized bottle? If it's not, measure the temp of the coolant in the bottle, the temp on the side of the block closer to the passenger side, your radiator hoses, and right where the sensor plugs in right on top of the head. It might be that your gauge is just crap. It's happened to a couple people on this board. Just eliminate the possibility that your gauge is wrong before you start freaking out like I did. If you don't have a laser thermometer use a cooking thermometer to test the temp in the plastic bottle.
  10. John, are you sure your overheating. Arre you going by the gauge. I thought mine was overheating too because I was reading the gauge, which was off by thirty degrees. I bought a laser thermometer and found out everything was fine after changing a whole bunch of parts that I didn't have to. :wall:
  11. No. Don't shoot yourself. It's not fun at all.
  12. Around $100. Definately worth the investment/
  13. I called them once. Though they might charge out the @$$, and they didn't have the part I needed. They spent half an hour on the phone with me on their dime trying to help me out. They were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful to the best of their ability. I wouldn't hesitate calling them again if I had to.
  14. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5829&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=rock+rails&start=0 I don't know if Tomken ever followed through with the LWB design.

  16. Congrats foob  Your wife wins the Wife Of The Month Award. Now can you get her to teach the rest of our wifes the same mentality.
  17. Wow  And I thought my family had some crazy toys :rotfl2: Does any militari use those?
  18. You need to grease the cable to get it to stop vibrating. Don't ask me with what grease though. Someone else is gonna have to tell you. I used a grease we use on restaurant equipment and it only lasted two weeks. I'm too lazy to pull the cluster back out to regrease it though
  19. So hornbrod. If I got a sending unit for my 88 out of a 91 comanche the gauge is going to read backwards? Will everything work normal besides that? PS sorry bout the JACK.
  20. Actually ya. Everyone wants to know.
  21. So who won?
  22. You know, I always hated the look of that bumper until ya bought it Taz. Now I'm jealous. Looks good. Leave the lites there. And stick four more on the roll bar. The only thing is I guess the point of the bumper is to protect the front and I can see those getting ripped off in that position on a tree limb. So keep em there to park in the garage and flip em upside when you take her out.
  23. Not hard. Takes 30 minutes to remove the rail and put it back on. Just make sure you have extra o-rings in case the ones they send you are faulty and make sure you have them for the connections to the lines too. I didn't have em the first time I changed em out and caused a huge mess at the back line.
  24. Is it possible to replace those bushings without taking the whole assembly out?
  25. More power. yes quicker start. yes smoother running engine. yes gas mileage increase. no
