yeah i just don't like the fact that anyone around town can spot me. i feel exposed Rubbing compound will take that right off. I'd have to disagree.... Those Bradly crews are geniuses compared to M1 crews... Those guys actually knew the difference between FRH and oil... DAT's on the other hand love to "work" on there own vehicles .. even if it means topping off a turbine with FRH instead of turboshaft......

80W gear oil? if it is its probably GL5 that will wear out your syncros! i ran full synthetic Mobil gear oil (gl5) in my AX15 in my YJ and wore the syncros out in about a year. Well crap.... I guess I'll return that mojo... I have a BA-10 does that matter??

I dug up this exploded view of a Honda trans.. By looking at it do you see a difference in the assy vrs jeeps? I'm wondering why Honda's benefit so much from the GM stuff, and Jeeps don't... I know theres no listing to what the Honda uses as materials, I though it may shed some light on why Jeeps don't like the lube, but Honda guys swear by it... Image Not Found

From what I've read about the Pennzoil is that its basically the same as the GM/ AC Delco.. Ford makes some MTF thats calld "Honey" that some people have used, not on Jeeps, though. I guess I could try it in my 89's BA-10, but only until I find an ax-15 to swap if it explodes. I was hoping it would help my BA-10 from making so much noise and help it shift smoother.. oh well...... :redX:

That Bradly was pretty cool I agree.. I was a turret mechanic in the Army, when we were in Iraq I crossed trained with some support guy and we changed a few of the BFV's engines.. The fun part was test drives... easy to do stoppies in too!!!
