  1. I think it would look good with just the stripes. Remover the letters and extend the two stripes on down the bed. my $.02 :D
  2. Hey, you think you "have'ta" take the booster to a shop to swap the booster rod?? I have a 96?? (year not sure of) booster. The rod looks like my mj's, but the hole is smaller IIRC... I'd like to do this swap before I bleed the brakes, but not 100% on the rod/prop valve.... I'll get pictures of the BOOSTER rod in a few and post them, so I can be a lil clearer on what to do. :D :D
  3. Not to bad of a truck,,,, Too bad theres a ebay strike about to happen   LOL Thinking of going close to there to look at a commuter car for Stephanie.. If I go look at that car fri I'll just run on up there and take a look,, I took karate as a kid so I'll be able to block her blows when I tell her, "Let go a bit further to check out this MJ." :fool: I must say it's better then that chop-shopped xj :teehee:
  4. Oh gawd,,, from NC no less... :fool:

  6. For 1200 bucks that mofo better bring me coffee and a danish!
  7. Thanks!
  8. You need to add one more vote catagory: I HATE IT! It's slower loading, expecially when you're listing items to sell, it's harder to search seller's listings for specific key words, and I've had it lock up my computer a couple of times. There is an option in your preferences though where you can select to use the old style. But Ebay will probably dump that option soon. I guess they have their reasons for fixin' something that wasn't broke. Done if I can.... EDIT: Don't know how to add a vote.... :hateputers:
  9. +1 on bigger pictures. I think I hurt my neck trying to make out the first one.. Looks good from what I can see..
  10. Yeah it is the motors section,, I don't mind the color so much everything is different like the locations and layout.
  11. It has a HO valve cover on it..
  12. I was searching on ebay and it looked different. What do you think of the new ebay look? I like the old style better.. It's easier to search I think..
  13. What the crap was on the door?? :hmm:
  14. :rotf: :rotfl2:
  15. My input on the CenterForce is your just paying for a name... As their kits aren't that much different from what you can get from the dealer.. I got a CForce Throw-out Bearing and its in a pretty box with CF written all over it and all, but when I opened it up it was just a plain ol' bearing.. I bought the TB on ebay, so I was thinking I was had. I emailed and called wanting to know if I was ripped off. I finally got to speak to a rep at Midway Industries (owners of Centerforce) and the guy told me that my TB was a CF part. They just pretty much took a factory bearing (Nachi in my case) and sold it under the CF name. So if I was you esp with just a 2.5L just go with a OEM clutch. I know the friction parts of their clutches are a lil different but not worth the extra 150 bucks your going to spend on the CF name. I could understand if you where running a high hp engine, but lets face it, How much Torque/HP are you going to be making with the 2.5?? Just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions, right..
  16. Pete now I kinda get the impression your a laidback kinda fellow who don't like to offend people,, but have you called these guys and told them they need to get their eggs in a basket?? You should call those folks and tell them to quit farting around.. Tell'em you have a bunch of cold bald headed, angry, guys who drive JEEP's (and we know most of us Jeep boys are BIG Jeep boys) who are not sitting in their seats like good Jeep boys?? It just takes that "Hey get it done, or I'm going to drive over your couch and tv clicker with my TRUCK!!" then point out to your MJ with mud dripping off the bumper like a ravaged dog who has rabies... Get some red plastic covers for your truck and put them over the headlights first too. Make it look evil... :brows: Just a suggestion... :D
  17. I read your build, and I think I'll do just the bottom side too. I did spread the resin first (well when I started on the one corner) then laid the glass on top of the fresh applied resin,, the glass is matted not weave and the resin soaked into the liner as I was laying the glass in. Had to slop it real heavy to get the glass to stick.. then just spread resin all over, on the top side of the liner(facing roof). It pretty much sucked it up. A friend told me to use a little thinner to the resin when I mixed so it would thin it out to spread easier. Worked pretty good. It should be good tomorrow, after the thinner evaps. Did you sand yours down before you put the foam backed fabric on?
  18. I know you have to mix it.. I was just amazed at how much it just sucked the stuff in.. Its still a lil tacky but is starting to firm up real good. I did one corner with glass so far and then just started pouring the resin on and smoothing it out with a filler spreader. Ill probably go ahead and make up about 2 qts and soak the glass in it, and then start setting the glass on. I'm doing the top side of it and then around the edges. I really don't think it'll need it on both sides. So far its added about 5lbs to the overall weight  On another note, I had a pretty big rip/tear on one edge, I didn't want it to keep separating, so I used some krazy glug to bond it. Man that crap started smoking like crazy!! It worked realy good though, If anybody does take their headliner out and it only has a few tears then I would suggest using the super/krazy glue on it.. The layers love it! It works really really good, for tears.
  19. OK so I decided to go ahead and start covering my headliner with resin... All I can say is DAM!!! This thing sucks it up like a a biscuit.. I gone through 2 qt's of resin so far.. Bad thing about it is my resin isn't geting hard like I want it too!!!! I don't know if its just because the headliner is sucking it up and not letting the two parts bond or what.. I have a feeling I'm going to be screwed here. Going to let it dry/harden and report back the situation.
  20.
