    GNX XJ....

I glad people don't act like that around here.. Hey that car I was talking about is right beside you in Farmville. My uncle and a guy named Charley own Performance Counts Automotive.
  2. I was lucky. I started on Mazaks that had conversational programming, then switched to an old Cicinnati mill with G-code. Man did I have to learn quick. I spent most of my time on Integrex 4 axis lathes. They worked fine but anything complex had to be done in manual format which was all g & m-code anyway. I know the newer mills the company bought were running a Windows Fusion setup. I was thrown about a million G/M-codes and was told "What you don't know what a G54 is??" ummmmm, NO! lol I do now though! My uncle knows all about Cincinnati Milacrons he uses them at Freightliner, I never worked with any. We have a pretty good shop at school with Haas, Bridgeport, a old Fedal, and 2 cnc grinders, I think one of those grinders is a seiko?? not sure.. Most of the mills lathes are Haas though. We just got a new Haas lathe with live tooling.. pretty cool to watch,, I can't wait to learn how to make it do what I want it too!! :brows:
  3. Man its too bad you can't see it, at one point the whole block looks like its just floating in mid air. Not only that, but it automatically changes out stock in like 5 secs. I couldnt imagine writing the program for that.. I'm learning a few CAM programs right now, CNC one which is ok just limited, and ESPRIT and it has alot of bugs, esp when we try to import the program onto our Haas machines.. 5 axis mills are pretty high-speed, but yeah 33 secs is pretty quick.. Thats a hella fast feedrate!!
  4. I was just surfing around youtube and saw this.. BADA$$ video even if your not a machinist I think you'll like it..
  5. Kenosha Warrior said its already sticky...
  6. Preludes FTMFW!!!!!! Hey Pete I just realized there was a link sticky in the DIY forum... sad thing is I've used it before and forgot about it...
  7. ONE?? He!! there EVERYwhere!!! Remember I have a 2 year old too!! :D
  8. Yeah WTH is a whatdatbee anyway?? I've seen them my whole life, but for the love of all gravy hammers I still don't know what they are!
  9. I was just thinkin that if we had a goto place for technical info and such it would make it alot easier for people to find out about death wobble, height adjusting valves, and those sort of things. That way we could build on it and add more as time goes rusting by... well rusting for all you yanks!! :teehee: I mean to be honest when I search for something I get a zillion pages of everything from headlights to tail lights threads.... It would be real nice to just click on the link and find the info right there.... just a suggestion... :redX:
  10. How about a whole forum for stickies... A FAQ's in the index with links, info, famous posts, specs, ect... Just lock the ones that don't need any input.. :dunno:

Nice,,, Those guys at NAXJA are a bunch of Richards.. Just think that v6 made 360 at the wheels with a itsy bitsy turbo.. My uncle has a Buick that was one of the first of the GM turbo production cars. I'm about 100% that Garret supplied the spin on it. I don't really like the extended header, but I'd never would have noticed it unless it was pointed out.
  12. I'm pretty good with Auto CAD and Solid Works if you need me to draw something for you.. Just sketch me something out and give me the dimensions and I'll hook you up..

  22. ummmm hummmm... Yeah that does paint a weird picture I see your point, Image Not Found here's how I see it; Eagle is a pretty smart guy,,, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Honda parked at his home... :D Oh and you forgot about all the stickers slapped on the fender, hood, quarters, and windows,,,, but then again you see that on jeeps too..... Point is ricers give all white boys a bad name, but its just a stage, I mean I use to have a slammed S-10 and thought I was "COOL" ...
  23. Hey now !! Theres nothing wrong with a Honda!! Esp a 93 Accord,, one of the best lil cars out there. I have a 94 Prelude and I will have it forever.. I'm looking into buying Steph a 92 Accord EX at the end of the month,,,.. I know I know its from Japan and all, but at least its not killing babies from LEAD paint.. I'll always have a Honda parked in my driveway, esp since gas is 3 bucks a gallon.... Eagle I commend you on your choice.. I bet it's up-keep was 1/4 of the jeeps right?
