    oh deer?

that is the nastiest $#!t I've seen this year,,, of course its only been 5 days into it....
  7. Ya i hate to agree , iv always wanted to paint mine od green with the star and lettering and all that but more and more people are doing it but one day ill muster up and get it done . right now I'm leaning towards desert camo but we will see. the ride is looking schweet keep it up Yep! Only 8 cans so far, and it looks like a good, even coating. We'll see how it wears, touch ups will be easy, lol. The flat tan/desert look would be cool too I think. :USAflag: my next offroad MJ will be flat tan with either tan or black interior. it's a good choice I think. Yeah like that mj on flea bay a while back... It did look pretty rugged like that.

    JK vs Tree!

that would make you sing soprano!! that is after you woke up from fainting...
  9. I have always wondered how those things work.. Isn't that the little tube with a bulb that has the little balls that float to tell you the mix?? Is it one of those density values that make'em float??
  10. Looks pretty dang good!! You guys are killing it with the rattle can od greens... I like the look of it!! Say you only used 8 cans??
  11. OH $#!T RUNNNN!!!!!!! :rotf: Yes, Ye must thumb the cam!!
  12. have about 4 floor jacks?? :dunno:
  13. The mark your talking about is it with a grease marker, scribe, or wear marks? I'm thinking it is the mark on the pinion gear face maybe? I'm defiantly going run redline or similar synthetic oil. I guess while I have everything pulled apart I should replace the axle bearings and seals too huh.... Does the d35 have inner and outer seals, and how hord is it to replace the axle bearings? I thought you either had a crush sleeve or spacer and shims?? I'd rather use the spacer and shim instead of the crush sleeve.. That way if I don't get the pinion height right the first time I can redo it without having wasted a crush sleeve... Is that right?? Oh and 1 more thing what size is the pinion nut? Sorry man I completely hi jacked your thread...... :nanner: :D
  14. Sound advise. Thanks,, so is the d35 c-clipped? I have a good idea on whats going to happen, just confused about the pinion preload. Now let me get this right(i hope) to set the pinion preload I need 8-14 in lbs and the yoke is something like 250 ft lbs. confusing part is the pinion nut is used to set the preload,,, but when you tighten the yoke isn't it the pinion nut tightened?? So what pinion nut do i tighten?? Is there a ridge on the yoke that just keeps the yoke from tightening the preload more? I mean thats what I have in my head so do I just use the the pinion nut on the pinion without the yoke?? This is the only part of doing this I don't quite GET.....
  15. I guess I'm going to dig into it... I mean if its not 100% correct then I'll have to do it again until it is..... **for future reference: [*:1mdm4ymi] Cover Bolt Ft. 16. http://www.drivetrain.com/dana35.html Thanks  Think I read somewhere that Randy's ring and pinion owns yukon. I don't have to replace the pinion bearings do I? What am I looking for to tell if they do need replaced? I could also get away with rtv instead of gasket too right?
  17. Humm thanks Wildman... seems like thats more work then I want to do right now!!! Why can't it just be simple,,,,
  18. Can I tell without tearing it apart if my D35 has a crush sleeve or shims?? I have everything you listed except the in" # wrench so do I just go to the dealer for the replacement bearings and parts or where? Napa, or Advanced?
  19. Can I just put the one piece glass in my door instead of buying the whole 97 door?? Is there any kind of channel the 1/4 glass fits into that the one piece will too? Maybe someone could post a picture of the doors with the 1/4 glass removed,,,,maybe?? please????? :D
  20. Does anyone know what O2 sensor will fit?? I see the universal ones all the time for way better price then ones with connectors. Couldn't I use just an universal one and splice it in??
  21. Well through the link provided by NC, the NHTSA web site didn't list the recall. I though maybe it wasn't listed because the problem being emissions not a safety thing, so I called them. The person on the other end told me there is a 10 year period that has passed. I'm still going to call my dealer and see if I can persuade them into doing the fix, but I won't be able to do anything legally if they don't preform it. sucks @$$ ..........
  22. Well I contacted my state gov. This is what I got from them. Next channel is federal I guess.
  23.
  24. I need to swap my gears too, so I've been reading up on it..... Its pretty time consuming. setting the preload on the pinion seems like it will be the hardest part. I'd like to know this info too.
