I could make that into a truggy with just the parts I have laying in the yard...

I don't think they will be able to put the windshield back in by the looks of it. The top has a nasty dent towards the passenger side which is probrably going to make it difficult to fix :brows:

I wish my garage was that big

Call Danny's glass in Gloucester. I had them replace Pongs windshield, and it was like 140, but thats been 2 yrs ago, and they did it at their shop

Well this might get moved to another section, but here goes. As some of you know I have been in the market to buy a tubing bender, so I can start doing my own cage work, instead of having to pay some one else. I asked a few of my local buds that have benders, and the debate started over which one is better, so in doing some searching on PBB I found a link that was very benificial, and provided me with enough info to make the decsion, along with what the locals have said. Here is the link and enjoy the read http://www.offroadfabnet.com/forums/sho ... php?t=1668

KNock the glass out, add a cage.. and call it good. Glad to see everyone walked away. This is another prime example why you need to have good e-brakes on your rig.

where you at and pics

It was a few years ago when Pong still had doors  I went to the dealer and bought one for like 69 bucks, but heck thats been 3 yrs ago. Most dealers stock parts for a vehicle up to 10 yrs after it goes out of production

I stopped frequenting Naxja for that very reason.. Mods moving your post cause it wasnt "hardcore fabbing" I don't know whats more hardcore chopping your frame and building an exo, or making your own Long arms  That is the other reason why I stopped going to JF, to much crap to wade through.
-
That is my dream Mj now... would make my life so much easier while I am rebuilding Pong.... heck Pong would have a shiney paint job for at least 1 trail ride :nanner:
-
Talk about a post from the past

The only problem I see with your plan is the Crank Position Sender.... it is located on the bellhousing on the newer4.0's. The way to solve this would be to use propane or buy the adapter.. I would opt for the pane just for the cool factor :D BTW Scout frames are pure beef and old binders rule when it came to toughness, damn shame the bodies went to poo poo so quick
-
I suppose you could, but the admission price is like 245 bucks, and the lodging options in and around there is limited, so if you plan on going I would make reservations now.

Got money back from Federal (3600) and had to pay the state (169), the part that sucks is the wife and I paid in almost 25000 last yr, so to only get back 3600 really blows chunks

Camp Jeep is an event put on by DCX and is very family based. I have run the trails at Oak Ridge On the VA4wDA Annual run. Most of the trails are easy. There are a few exceptions. They are CJ5 hill, gets slick as all getout especially if you are at the end of the line, and Upper 3, Especially if you take the stupid crazy line. Finnley's ridge is a nice tight trail, lot of technical driving

I give the wave back when they sit there and stare and point :nanner: This happens anytime I had Pong on the road, or on the trailer... Kinda funny.... everyone with a 4x4 waves to me
-
I say let me drive it :driving: If it can survive my abuse.. it should be good :smart: BTW.. I am available to test drive (abuse) anyones rig that is willing to let me do that
-
You have to keep everything in perspective..... I will have a bul;let proof three speed t-case :D All gear driven for that price.... especially considering the Np203 and d300 were free :brows: That beats 2600 for an atlas
-
It was 625 with shipping. It came with some hardware, and Gaskets. The guy even included an issue of Crawl Magazine.... bad part of that is I am all ready a Subscriber
-
I think it will be interesting to see how this works out... I think there will be viscous coupler problems if not used with care
-
If you can find someone who wants to pay for them :brows:
-
To me it is wasting money. TRE's are less the 20 bucks, and you can choose whatever ones you want.. IE chevy 1ton, and use a part that was designed for the job.
-
Well The UPS man just left :D and he left behind my Np203 to D300 doubler kit minus the shaft (still being machined). I strongly recommend dealing with Jeds Machining, the owner is his only employee, and he promised me the adapters by today, and they showed up  Here is a fronty and back side pic, the D300 ring is a press fit into the backing plate for the np203, nice machine work as well
-
JJ are not used on steering, at least I havent seen them used that way. Hiems and TRE's are all I have seen.

 dana 60 NOS front axle....
pingpong replied to JeepcoMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Make sure they are a d60 and not the ford d50, or the dodge d61. Rear axles go for around 200 bucks in my neck of the woods, and front vary on price and gearing. Matter of fact looked in the local classifieds, there was a guy selling a M1008 with a bad motor for a grand.... that would give you d60; and 14 bolt, a turbo 400 and a t-case, along with some other junk to dispose of
