    Mj Vid

Nice video. Love the way you rig performs. Mine is getting there :D Shame JV is so far away for me
  3. BTW... I think it rocks that you abuse XJ's
  4. Thats it :loser: Try broken lincoln locker, tranny pan, dent in cab corner  and serious rock rash to the passenger and driver side of tha cage. I forgot the serious dent in the rim and the candy caned driveshafts ;) I hope my rig survies Paragon :ack:
  5. I have a few old style manifolds in my gareage :D I don't know what the shipping would be, but I will sell you one for 30 bucks plus shipping. I have "heard" of ppl using the late model intakes, with late model exhaust to get around the problem of the EGR bung. :brows: just make sure it isnt a HO model intake ;)
  6. Thats why if you ask anyone what performanse mods I have done to my rig... :deal: :agree: The answer is none  All you need is more gearing, and stronger axles :brows: Also ask them what is covered and what isnt in the event of breakage :brows: LIke the Yukon axles, if the u-joint breaks, or the ears on the shafts breaks, no coverage, but if the shaft itselfs shears, full reaplcement ;) Always read the fine print. I think it was a Doug Thorley header that cracked on a guy a while back over on JF, and because it was not professionally installed, no warranty existed
  7. I did mine this way, cause if the water is that deep :deal: we have problems Houston :smart: I ran it that way mostly cause it was cheap :D , but it is also easily repaired, and can be switched over when I go to a bigger or different engine :brows: I think a v-6 with 2 glasspacks would rock Also if you value your exhaust, and wheel like I do, put it as close to your floorbards as your passengers feet can stand  Especially if you are like me and had to mod your x-memeber for your LA's :shake: no only if I could kep my tranny pan from jumping down in the way of rocks ;)
  8. Hey I still have a Jeep emblem and the comanche script on the side :nanner: Just wait till It gets the D60's it, with the H! bead locks on 42's. Then she won't be stock apperaing
  9. For some reason them ppl's care about body damage more then some of us :smart:
  10. :needpics: I would have just cleaned the ends up, and lightly sanded it, and then repainted it. :brows: That rustoleum was on there thick :D I know it was heavy, why do you think I built it in place :agree: Just imagine taking that thing off by yourself with the sides still attached :nanner: My back is still hurtining from it
  11. Mine cracked one time, and I welded it myself, and that was 3 yrs ago  No issues since then :D So I really can't see spending money on something just cause it "MIGHT" break :dunno: Also if you go to the pick-a-parts they are only 20 bucks, and It is much easier and cheaper to keep a few spare around then it is to spend 400 bucks and hope it doesn't break again. :shake: cause if it does then you have to go through the retailer, then back to the manufacturer, and hope they don't have the clause where it has to be professionally installed for them to honor it. :deal: So then not only are you out 400 bucks, and aggravated, you need to spend more money  Not what I want to do :brows:
  12. J-yard calipers 10 bucks :D Lot easier and faster :chillin: I keep a set of spare calipers in the garage, along with a starter, alternator, and complete set of known good sensors
  13. Nice pics.. Love the pics of the flop
  14. It won't play for me  I loved slick rock last yr though :agree: I also thought Guard rail and lower 2 were cool  I broke my locker and bent my rear axle on lower Guard rail  Talk about a fun night of wrenching fixing my rig so I could wheel day 2 open open :huh???: I can't wait til we run Tellico in the Fall
  15. I was talking to the other dude
  16. I quess you haven't realized that anything with Jeep in front of its cost 3X what it would cost if another auto maker made it :smart:
  17. Ask MJ Jeff to take a few picks of my old bumper I gave him. I ended up cutting the factory ones up to build my bumper, but they were stout. It all depends on how flush mounted you want the bumper. patrick
  18. I don't want to bag on anyone running a header, but they are only marginally better then the later model stock manifolds that you can pick up at the j-yards for 20 bucks. :dunno: Plus if you are running a header into your stock down pipe whats the benefit :huh???:
  19. Load radios are overrated  They drowned out the sound of crunching metal on the trails :ack: and then Icant hear my glasspacked 4.0 getting down
  20. I know how much steel has gone up :agree: We just used over 250' of 1.75x.120 DOM on my rig  Needless to say my steel bill was up there a lil bit  But all that means is I will be wheeling on 35's a lil longer. 42's and building D60's front and rear gets expensive quick :deal:
  21. I ordered mine, when he first came out with the FBW. It took 4 weeks from when I ordered it, till when I got it :dunno: Kinda a long wait for a bumper. But Terry at rigico was very cool to deal with. no issues what so ever. The installation was easy, directions were nice. The welds and fitment were great. I have been abusing my bumper now for 1.5 yrs with no issues. :D I see they also have gone up in price since I bought mine as well :chillin:
  22. Why wouldnt mine fit :huh???: or was it to much to cut so much sheetmetal off
  23. Because you were tryng to build on a budget  :rotf: You didnt listen to what ppl were telling you :thwak: and you are from :Canadaflag: and we all know how you all like to do things differently up there :smart:
  24. Also a wagoneer axle is not full width
  25. We were talking about the Isuzu 12 bolt
