  1. Damn, too bad you're not a little closer. I wouldn't mind going to take a look at it for/with ya.
  2. Are you confusing desktop background with screen saver? Mine rotates every two hours with pictures of exploded view engines like this one: Can't find a Jeep one though. Would kill to have a picture of a 4.0 like this.
  3. Regardless of what it was being traded for, I wouldn't let an MJ go to someone who's "just looking for a small truck".
  4. Just pull the front shaft out until you get linkages.
  5. One on the back of the head.
  6. The 35 doesn't just have set gears. Gearing depends solely on engine/transmission combo. 4.0 + 5 speed got 3.07, regardless of 2wd/4wd, or what axles it had.
  7. Get. Those. Wheels. Off. Of. It. What's wrong with the shell? I think that part looks fine.
  8. Right at the end as Stewie's trying to hitchhike? Yup, black one without a tailgate.
  9. Well at least you know that bolt will never loosen up...
  10. Pull the drums off and make sure the 4 bolts holding the bearing in are all there and tight. You really don't want one of the shafts just flying out when you're driving.
  11. Are you talking about you 88? Do they both have a D35? If so, then yes, the spiders out of your 86 will go right in.
  12. I can't wait until this thing's done, I'd love to run up and see it.
  13. I picked one up that was about that bad, and was just super excited it had floors. Which is about all it has now.
  14. Going to a second page is dependent on number of replies. Yours doesn't have enough yet to split onto a second page. It's 20 per page, and yours only has 15 posts.
  15. Get a lock plate spring compressor while you're at it. That was included in the free loaner toll set. That's convenient, but most places don't loan them together(although they should). I don't know if you've ever tried to remove one without the compressor, but I sure am never gonna go through that hell again.
  16. Get a lock plate spring compressor while you're at it.
  17. :laughin: Jim, when you click on the button for the smiley's, it'll pop up the bar on the bottom with them. Off to the right there's a tiny arrow to go to the next page of them. Took me awhile to notice that.
  18. Only if you were testing on both sides of the switch. If you're attaching the ground somewhere else, you should still read 12 V. But if you're grounding somewhere else, you should only see 12 V on one side of the switch without the pedal being pushed. You have 12 on both sides with the pedal up?
  19. How are you checking? Connecting to both sides of the switch? Check it with the pedal pushed down. You shouldn't read anything(unless there's an internal resistance to the switch I don't know about, which there shouldn't be). An actual multimeter would be much better if you can get ahold of one.
  20. Michigan's a lot like WI in respect to weather. Yes, it gets insanely cold there, but it also gets freaking hot. Those lakes really mess with the temperature, and MI had more coastal borders than land borders. AC can be needed up there, just not for 9 months of the year.
  21. Yeah, it's nice, but I still wonder if it's just Ivy or if they other ones would affect me.
  22. I'm immune to poison Ivy, not sure about Oak or Sumac. If I've ever been exposed to it, I'm immune, since I've never gotten it. I also don't sunburn unless under extreme circumstances(like in water).
