  1. Have fun in KC. I hate that place. It's impossible to find anything, and some guy yelled at me when I yielded to him to cross the street. Oh, and the north side smells. :ack: College is always good though.

    DIY writeup?

I'm running Firefox and haven't had a single problem with it, ever. IE, however, has epic fail written all over it.

    DIY writeup?

It's because Pete left. Now everything's going to fall apart.
  5. I haven't read completely through, but you might want to break it down more into 'steps' instead of one huge paragraph. Also, one of the best things you can do with a write-up is lots and lots of pictures. Even just your finished pictures would be good, so whoever does this can at least see if they did something wrong.
  6. 5 year old gas. 3 speed? :hmm: AFAIK there were 4 and 5 speeds available, the automatic was a 3 speed.
  7. How much you get? I won $75 once.
  8. A dying fuel pump or ballast resistor can also cause the hesitation. Letting us know if it's a 4.0 or 2.5 would help greatly.
  9. I don't think of it as my life is over at all, if anything, it's just started. I didn't do too much anyway, and now with the kiddo, everything I do will just be that much more exciting. As for her name, we got the names from Star Trek: Deep Space 9, From the characters Jadzia Dax(Terry Farrell) And Kira Nerys(Nana Visitor)
  10. That's a good idea, but I'd be worried that excess vibrations could put it out of adjustment.
  11. Peanut butter and Bacon on toast is really good.
  12. My first XJ did the same thing in the middle of an intersection. Ended up being the ballast resistor.
  13. That's a very broad question. There are tons of things that affect mileage. Assuming there's nothing wrong with the motor or control system, that would completely depend on gearing. With 35s, if you're running 3.07 gearing, you'll probably get 4 or 5 MPG. With 4.88s, you might get lucky with around 16. But these are just guestimates, someone that has you configuration may have to chime in.
  14. Lift amount really had nothing to do with the length of the spring. A 4 inch lift spring could only be an inch or so longer than stock, just have a much higher spring rate(thicker metal, more coils).
  15. You could hide the wife.
  16. You gotta spend more time in the pub :P viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17850
  17. Finally got a decent pic of me. Here's me and my now 44 hour-old daughter.
  18. I'm having a couple bucks coming my way here pretty soon Pete, I'll finally get you some for the stickers you sent me
  19. And the little gas gauges have that fancy-dancy light.
  20. Thanks guys, yesterday was pretty much the happiest day of my life. Yeah that's definitely my favorite. I took that a couple seconds after she opened her eyes for the first time.
  21. I'm assuming you're referring to a full cluster. They're not XJ or MJ designate. There's essentially three clusters: Full, all gauges. Full, minus tach(big gas gauge) Idiot lights Which cluster you have depends on the trim level of the truck. IE some MJs came from the factory with full clusters, some XJs had idiot lights. They're directly interchangeable withing their year range. If you upgrade to a full cluster, you'll need to change the oil pressure sender and temp gauge sender to the gauge units.
  22. You better recheck those hours... The ones I have been to have been 24/7 for Momma, Dad, siblings and the GP's. The rest were all subject to lesser hours. The pink Barbie Power Wheels Jeep will hurt if it runs over your toes... Nope, hours are for anybody. As for the power wheels, I've been wanting to buy used ones up, lift them, and sell them off again. I'm sure she'll end up with a lifted one.
  23. How old are the tires? The most likely cause of DW is out of balance tires.
  24. lol yeah I'll get around to it. We're hanging out in this lovely hotel until Friday. You fellas that are close by are more than welcome to stop by if you wanna see her, birthing center's visiting hours are 24/7.
