    Uh Oh.......

A quick google showed a curb weight of 6800... but that seems a bit high to me.
  2. If you're bored, feel free to rehab my red MJ.. :D
  3. Dump it into a clean container, put a little Stabil in it, and just add a small amount to your truck when you fill up.
  4. You didn't replace the fuel? Well, there's the problem.
  5. One of the gears for reverse is... well, pretty much gone then. Unless I'm mistaken and the BA 10/5 has a meshed synchroed reverse. Drain the oil. I'd bet its a silvery mess of metallic goodness.
  6. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18111 That should cover any question you have about it.
  7. I paid $650 for my 4.0.
  8. Me too. I'll even test drive it for them if they'd like.
  9. I paid 30 for one at Sears. I think it was a good investment, cause I was able to prove my dad wrong about something that I diagnosed from 600 miles away. Well worth it. Besides, if you buy one, rent it out a couple times, and it'll pay for itself.
  10. Hey now... don't group me with the crap he put up. I'm not asking for a lot, it wouldn't be that hard for them to pop one wheel up a car ramp...
  11. Vac line from the solenoid to the valve. It's either a bad relay, solenoid, or valve. Nothing really else involved unless you somehow managed to rust out the pipe.
  12. See if you can talk him into a flex shot.
  13. Pretty sure they did. Only auto behind the 2.5 I've heard of after 86 was the AW-4.
  14. I'd pay $600. That steering wheel cover looks expensive, you could probably flip that.
  15. It's not necessary, but it's been suggested that it helps the pump live longer.
  16. Does your MJ need a new trans?
  17. You could get it to bolt up... You'd need the 4.0 AW-4 bellhousing and torque converter. But they're setup differently, and you really wouldn't be happy with one setup for a 2.5 behind a 4.0. Or so I've been told.
  18. Get rid of the T-case drop. It doesn't really help out the back much and it makes the front angles much, much worse.
  19. There's a little zerk on the fuel rail. Remove the cap, and screw a fuel pressure tester onto it. Then have someone try to start it. It should read about 40 psi, and it should hold it after you shut the key off.
  20. Not for me, I love dropping the barrel right after the shot, getting the new shell in and locked back up before the old one even hits the ground.
  21. Sounds like either it's fuel-starved, either by a bad fuel pump, pressure regulator, or bad TPS adjustment. Can you get ahold of a fuel pressure tester?
  22. Breaks may not be as fast as a semi or pump but they're a hell of a lot more fun.
  23. Yeah, I wouldn't even bother. If they can't even be sure about what it is, and can't be bothered to take a pic, then I couldn't be bothered to pay them. I drove 35 miles once cause I was told there was a 3.55 XJ D44 I could have for $150, and it ended up being a 35. Also, how can you rebuild an axle without knowing what it was?
