  1. If you can verify mileage.... I don't see that there's even an option.
  2. Yes it was. Even behind the 2.5 in the Dak 93(I think) and up.
  3. AX-15 was used... mid 89-99 XJ mid 89-92 MJ mid 89-95 YJ 97-99 TJ 93 ZJ It may have been used longer in the TJ, not 100% on that.
  4. Generally the AX-4 received 3.55 gearing in the axles, and AX-5 received 4.10 gearing. AX-5 w/ 4.10 had better acceleration and overall power in the lower gears, but the top end ratio somewhat evened out between the 2. AX-4: 3.55(axle) x 1(4th gear) = 3.55:1 AX-5: 4.10(axle) x 0.85(5th gear) = 3.485:1
  5. 92 does not have an EGR. That was done away with in 91 with the HO system. From what I can decipher from your question, it sounds like a poor spark issue, or perhaps a timing issue. You've replaced a lot of stuff, but you missed some of the cheapest and easiest stuff. Replace the spark plugs, cap, rotor, and wires.
  6. To explain even a little further. 1989 was the switchover year from the BA 10/5 to the AX-15 Early 89 4.0 will have a BA 10/5 behind it Later 89 4.0 will have an AX-15 2.5 will have either the AX-4 or AX-5. AX-4 and AX-5 are identical with the exception that the AX-4 is missing the 5th gear.
  7. Surely you mean 91 and up? 90 is the last year for the Renix system.
  8. So.... anything yet?
  9. It's simple. You get a hangover because alcohol severely dehydrates you. When I got drunk on my 21st, every other drink, I drank about 20 ounces of water. I tell people to do that, and they say "it's gross" I fail to see how drinking water is gross. I guess waking up in the morning, wanting to die, and puking your guts into the toilet is less gross than drinking some water the night before.
  10. Wow Eagle, you're so smart. When I grow up, I want to be just like you! :dunce: It's just for fun, so you really wouldn't understand. He has a very valid point here. Even if it is "just for fun", you missed a rather obvious option. Again, it's very possible, and not at all difficult to go out drinking, get completely hammered, and wake up without a hangover.
  11. "ror"? :huh???: It's that Rigs of Rods offroading game Rob had up in the Pub awhile back. I ran it too... it was slow for me as well. But from what I understand, it went kind of slow for everyone.
  12. I don't drink, however, the one time I did get drunk(on my 21st) I woke up the next morning feeling just fine. It's not hard to avoid a hangover.
  13. Mine is to do something to the Jeeps other than half-assed fix what just broke.
  14. Spellcheck has nothing to do with your computer. Get Firefox, IE sucks. It will check your spelling for you. Also, it's not hard to simply read over your posts quick before you hit submit. There's a difference between not being able to spell very well, and simply not even knowing what you're typing.
  15. Correct... you can only use an ECU for your motor/transmission in your year range, out of an XJ or MJ. I can't verify that the 87-90 YJ 2.5 is the same ECU, but I can tell you there is no such thing as a Renix 4.0 YJ. They got the carburated 4.2 until the introduction of the 4.0 HO in 1991.
  16. Partying too hard to get on CC eh?
  17. Kilometers to Miles: 550,000 x 0.62 = 341,000 Miles to Kilometers: 341,000 / 0.62 = 550,000 So, 100 kph is 62 mph.
  18. 550,000 kilometers is 341,000 miles.
  19. Have them look for XJ locks. MJ doors and 4 door 84-96 XJ doors are identical.
  20. Jeeps of the Renix Era. There are 4 different Renix ECUs 86-90 2.5 w/ automatic 86-90 2.5 w/ manual 87-90 4.0 w/ automatic 87-90 4.0 w/ manual 4wd makes no difference.
  21. Definitely. As with most computers, it comes with all that security crap and extra programs installed, but you can tweak it to run rather nicely. This came with XP Home SP3, but I've got it tweaked to run as smoothly as XP Pro SP1. Just a little size comparison for you, sandwiched between my 15" Dell and my Nintendo DS.
  22. Why do you have to post the same question in two seperate threads? How 'bout that tough guy? Rob L. :fs2: Padding my post count. Got milestones to hit, ya know.
  23. Why do we have the same discussion going on in two separate threads?

  25. I know very little about Football. Even less about College footbal. But I'll still say GO BADGERS!
