  1. Doesn’t "eve" refer to evening? The afternoon on 24th is called last minute shopping. Uh no. Not this time. It's the eve of Christmas, meaning the day before.
  2. Yes, behind the drivers side tail. We were just looking at Jakes on sun... Rob L. how do you guys break so much stuff on a junkyard run :hmm: ? :rotfl2: Jake's taillights haven't worked right since he bought it....
  3. It'll screw into the bed right behind the light.
  4. IIRC it's behind the driver's tailight. If it's not there, it's behind the passenger one.
  5. I bet your tail light ground is loose, and it gets enough juice to make a connection when you hit the brakes. Tail lights and dash lights share a fuse, and Tails and Brakes share a ground.
  6. Here ya go. And yeah, that looks almost exactly like the one I saw at FedEx
  7. You can't just link up the whole album, but if you go to your picture, right click on it, and go to view image, it should put just the pic in your window. Copy that URL, and put it in the tags, and it'll show up here.
  8. Got any pics of your truck? I bet you $10 I've at least seen it. Something tells me you're the guy I saw sitting in FedEx's parking lot on East Wash awhile ago.
  9. Let's PRETEND that this could be done. From what I understand 4.11 ratio has 37/9 teeth, 4.10 has 41/10, and 4.09 has 45/11 For 4.11, if you went from 37 on the ring to 36, your ratio would be 4:1 If you knocked one off the pinion, your ratio would be 4.625:1 But again... it's just not how that works.
  10. :thwak: :fool:
  11. I mean removing the TCU and putting in an AX-15.
  12. Or bypass the TCU completely.
  13. Unfortunately it does. You will need a 87-90 4.0 TCU.
  14. Did you at least check the fluid level?
  15. Most of my trip between WI and MO is 70 mph and I'm sure there's places that are higher.
  16. Well, the baby would be the bi-polar one, as for the pregnancy, that would obviously be me.
  17. Before you go buying up another internal slave, consider looking around for an external slave conversion. A little more work at first, might end up running a couple more bucks, but you will thank yourself if you ever have issues again.
  18. Run'm out to my place, I'll be happy to do it for ya :brows:
  19. If they're both longbeds, had the same motor and transmission, everything should go perfectly smoothly. The ratios should even be the same if the motor/trans was the same combination, so you won't even have to bother with the rear axle unless the donor has a better axle.
  20. The XJ may be in the show... if the MJs are all, it'll be kinda in the background.
  21. Externals, yes. Internals, no. Your slave cylinder is located on the passenger side of the bellhousing. The only PITA thing about it is getting at nut on the top stud.
  22. Good news, you lucked out with the year. 86 was still an external slave cylinder. You can replace the entire hydraulic clutch system without removing the transmission.
  23. A bad slave/master cylinder will not result in the clutch slipping, but quite the opposite. If there's fluid missing, there has to be a leak somewhere. As suggested, check your fuse box. It's the most common place for the fluid to go when the master leaks, and if it's there, you need to pull all the fuses out, and douse it in electrical cleaner. If you don't you'll be chasing electrical gremlins for the rest of the truck's life, or until the box is replaced. What year/engine your truck is will help, A LOT.
