Something like that would only work, if everyone has entered their location, in the same format. If you go to the members list, you can click on the location at the top of the grid, and it will sort the best it can that way.
tried to search for it.............
then crouch under the cherokee with a mesuring tape to realize that they are 1.5'' further
would have been a great swap while the leafs were taken apart
thanks for the answer

Why? The springs themselves have nothing to do with it. It's where they are that cause the problem.
Not sure how relevant this is now, but I did have a VC bolt snap on me during removal once on a very oily 89 4.0.
Luckily that bolt missing didn't cause any leaks... at least not while the XJ was still in the family.
I did the test, and it was a little goofy. All the tach did though, was go to 0, then to 2100, then to 0, then to 2100, then to 0, and went up to about 400 when I shut off the key.
Methinks it's dead.
It's a compliment, trust me.
It's from the dos equis commercials. They advertise this guy as the most interesting man in the world, and that he drinks this.. blah blah.
It seems you've been everywhere, done everything, and then did it again.
My first XJ (88 4.0/4wd/D30/D35/pukey Laredo)had the front skid, and T-case skid. No tow hooks, and if it had a trac-lok, it was long shot before I bought it.
Truck was stripped out before I found CC.
I had a gas leak in both MJs.
The 2.5's was due to me replacing the pump without dropping the tank, and the O-ring didn't seal properly, because it's a pain to install with the tank in the truck.
The 4.0's leak was due to the seal where the wires go through being shot.
If it was fine for 3 days, and the throwout bearing was new, I would be it's not that. My bet would be either loose bellhousing bolts, or loose pressure plate bolts.
Can you describe the noise better? Clutches/transmissions can make all kinds of different noises.
You mean the part that goes in the header panel in front of the hood? It's actually 4 separate pieces.
I don't know of anywhere that has them new, so you'll either have to try a JY, or I'm sure someone on here has them laying around. I believe I have a full set up in WI.
