NickyV
I just picked up some power side view mirrors from an 89 XJ. Used the DeWalt battery trick to make sure they worked. They seem like they are in good shape. The XJ they came from was in great condition. My question is, will these look good on my Colorado red MJ. I've always been partial to the black, no-frills side-view mirrors, but the ones I got have the chrome plating. Anyone got pics?
Eagle_SX4
This XJ was on bring a trailer. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-jeep-cherokee-4/
89 MJ
I dig it. It would look really good with chrome header panel trim.

pizzaman09
Only one way to find out, install them. Mirrors are not too challenging of a job, do it and report back with pictures.

robfg67
I like it! You've got other chrome in the windshield moulding and front bumper to tie it all together.
Smokeyyank
The windshield surround is rubber now. Normally not huge on chrome but it's just enough
NickyV
Thanks to all who replied. Especially @Smokeyyank — that is the closest to what I was imagining. I feel like if I do this I’ll want to do the door handles too…. Maybe. But thanks, this helps me visualize it better. I’m still debating if I should get the auto door locks too. I currently have the auto window regulators and the previously mentioned chrome mirrors. Those both make sense to me so I can adjust the passenger side window and mirror on the fly. The locks I’m a little less sure of… Should I go full auto? I feel like the main reason I’d want the locks is so I could unlock both doors at the same time while walking up to the truck with another passenger. Otherwise it’s kinda meh… But man… this means I need to get new door cards too. Unless someone has a good hack for covering up the manual regulator hole

Make it a luxurious MJ with GM keyless entry that I added to my XJ. Fricken love it. Definitely spoiled myself to my XJ whenever I drive my MJ. aris_garage_builds
I'm usually a red and black fan, but I gotta say on a MJ the chrome just looks right.
