89 MJ Posted June 18 Share Posted June 18 Looking for a power steering pump cap like the one pictured. Apparently they are specific to 87-90 Jeeps with I6s. Dorman stopped making them, but the part number is 82585. The Chrysler number is 83505415. I've tried ordering a few off of eBay and the order ends up getting cancelled because it isn't actually in stock. That said, does anybody have one? I'm fine with new or used in good shape. Eagle_SX4 Posted June 18 Share Posted June 18 They are quite hard to find it took me a couple of months going to junkyards to find a good one for my truck. When I bought my 90, in 1990, I had no idea I would have it so long that something as simple as a power steering cap (or any part really) would be obsolete during my ownership!
