88 Pioneer 4.0 Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Where can I buy the window seals to replace my bad ones? Thanks

fiatslug87 Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 I think Summit and Jegs also sell the Precision products, at least they used to.
Salvagedcircuit Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 I know there was discussion on what year window / door seals are better for our comanche's. Does anyone know what the breakdown is? I know the 97+ window seals have double pleats and seal better against the inner glass. I purchased the precision products 97+ window seals and I could only get them to work on the inside of the window, the outside one left a huge gap between the trim and the window. What are the best solutions for the glass, the window track, the door gasket etc... Thanks!
Pete M Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 I got a full kit through, I think, Summit. the fit is ok. it doesn't have to be perfect (and never was, even from the factory), as the door has drain holes. do be sure to clean out your doors. the pieces of the old felt fall down and can clog those drain holes.

Absolutely! This was my passenger door during the clean up process. I didn't even know there were holes there!
88 Pioneer 4.0 Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Thanks all! I ended up getting them from Summit. Job turned out well.
speeding_infraction Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Is this the kit you got? If not, could you post a link to the one you ordered? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pqp-dk-6110-84/year/1989/make/jeep/model/comanche
Smokeyyank Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Bringing this back up. Need to replace all the seals on my 92. Saw a few things in searching. Would the precision kit above be the go to or?
pizzaman09 Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 I'm halfway through installation of the precision kit right now. It's nice.
Smokeyyank Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Good to know. Any ones that are more difficult to install?

Billy Darson Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 RockAuto also sell the same kit from precision. just finished with my passenger side. I feel like the outer window scraper piece is lacking a bit. it sits low like there should be another piece attached to it for a nice seal above the sill of the window opening, keeping water out of the doors. as it is now I'm not convinced my door cavity will be dry inside on a wet day. If anyone has the solution let a BillyDarson know. the Kit I got was the Precision DK611084, which doesn't come with the vent window seal . haven't found a kit that does. Stellar Job 88 Pioneer 4.0!
