DesertComanche86
So, a while back I had purchased a 1986 Jeep Comanche 4X4 and was getting work on it so it could be my Desert Comanche. Unfortunately after just getting road ready (I had just paid for registration tags), I young driver hit me on the side and my Comanche was considered totaled. However, this past Father's Day I was able to buy a replacement. It's a 1987 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4X4, Automatic, with a 6 Cylinder motor. I am super happy and feel extremely blessed as it seems to be close to all original (so I think - I just got into this Comanche life journey in January). I was actually able to drive it 520 miles to where it calls it's new home now - without any hick-ups. Anyways, I'm going to add some pictures of it here and please feel free to let me know what I have as I want to make the right choices as I begin to work on it - although, I'm thinking of doing very little to it. fiatslug87
Nice looking truck, original sport bar, cargo light, bed liner, retractable under hood light and a D44. The load sensing valve (on the rear dif) is not adjusted correctly, the arm should be pointing at approximately 3 o’clock and the rod should be vertical. Add it to the registry and you will get more info on it.

DesertComanche86
Just wanted to add some pictures of my Jeep Comanche. I have finished with the exterior. Next on to the interior. I need to get the headliner and Visors done, as well as, get the radio installed - I purchase the Electronic Grand Prix (https://www.crutchfield.com/p_068GRANM2A/RetroSound-Grand-Prix-M2A.html) for my MJ. OldSch88L
Man that truck looks so classy in white with the chrome accents!!! By the way, I think you're in the wrong section; if you haven't already, you should start a thread in the "Member Projects: Your Comanches" section for all your truck's updates. Nevertheless, I'm happy to have seen this beauty! Have a good one!
JeepSchmidt O'Guinness
I thought the steering wheel was the amc triangle up to '88? Great work.
