what's your house look like on google earth?

was wondering if they ever updated the image and it appears they have... but the house is taken from an extreme angle from the left, and the driveway is taken from the right.    well, at least the previous owners' truck isn't in the drive anymore (which was like 12 years ago).  I see the Liberty and the trailer now.

I always thought satellites took these pictures when semi overhead. Looking at these photos, that's certainly not the case. Looking at my last 3 houses, though, my MJ is in all of them. THEY CLONED IT

They use satellites and aircraft for images, so if it's not from directly above, it was probably taken by aircraft.

I wasn't going to contribute because the imagery in my area had been taken in the winter and was just an overexposed white blur for the most part, but I guess they updated it last summer

Still not the best resolution there either, and frankly you wouldn't necessarily guess there was a house there if you didn't know it already was. The roof is green tin, so it just looks like green space, but you can see the shadow, and in front of the house is one of my Ladas circled in green with my shortbed MJ across the street in blue... I think. It's kinda hard to tell, if I'm honest.

I checked everywhere else I've lived in the last ten years, and all the imagery is more recent than my presence.

The imagery is dated 2022, so there should be at least two white cars in this picture, maybe three depending on if I was gone when the picture was taken. I'm pretty sure the grey splotch is my 91 MJ, but my 89 is nowhere to be found. Probably got filtered out with the noise.

Here’s the Google Earth street view, the first one was back in 2011 when they caught me mid engine transplant, the second is the most current, and the third is a doctored overhead shot.

This one must have been about August 2018 or maybe spring 2019. Behind our shop is my MJ before paint (white blob), my 97 XJ (red blob), my Dad’s plow truck (white and maroon blob next to shop), and my Dad’s YJ right near the garage. 32E9062D-750E-4742-84A4-5B1C3A424B79.jpeg.c3481ab3eeede35e0c350391c4abd94e.jpeg

didn't think of the street view.    looks like it's still a shot of the house just before my folks bought it.  dang that green was so hideous!

My house before the slaying of a hundred or so trees. I got tired of everything damp and green.

Satellite view of the current state of my yard isn’t available yet.

My Home circa 2 years ago. No gravel driveway and still tons of blackberry bushes in the field.

That "trail" in the lower field is my Jeep test route :D, I can get the Jeep moving pretty quickly from one end to the other
