CEThomas
Well, when you have a 89 MJ with a drive train mixed out of a 92,96,98 and everything in side out of a 93,91 & 88  Looking at the average of what we have in the MJ, is it a 89 MJ or is it a 92 MJ :D
Rokhound
Sound almost like a Johnny Cash song to me :D Same boat the only thing is when you go to the parts house and they ask what year that truck is and you look at them and say what part. They stand there and look at you are  I think I am going to start calling it left over. Because that’s what I built it out off every bodies left over parts. Then after that you need parts for a 94 XJ, followed by the axle seals for a '79 Bronco 9" rear axle, calipers for a a Monte Carlo, rotors from a 78 CJ-7, a pinion seal for a '77 F-150 HP D44, brake pads for a '81 Dodge W-150 D44 and then get steering parts for a 1 ton Chevy pick-up. Yeah, but my regular parts store understands all that crap ;) When I ask for 94 Cherokee parts they know I need something for my front axle. jaekl
It's one of those annoying things in life that you keep running into. It doesn't matter how much info you give the counter person showing that you know what you want. You don't fit the script and it's like you are the only one who does it. Some act like they know everything but it all ends the same, "It's not listed." It's like a show where first they show the present then show what happened previously to explain how they got here. It's bad enough with older unlisted vehicles. It must be ridiculous with modified ones.
