fiatslug87 Posted October 19, 2021 Share Posted October 19, 2021 What's the easiest way to remove the stuck on gasket adhesive (it's not RVT) from the block side of the oil pan? Engine is still in the truck which is on jack stands so I have to do it on my back. I'm scraping away and getting very tired! Thanks for any advice. p.s. I do not have air tools. youngfred Posted October 19, 2021 Share Posted October 19, 2021 ... I've had good luck with the Permatex Gasket Remover. Apply, let it sit, then scrape. The gasket kinda comes off in layers, so you might have to apply until it is all off.
