I have wanted a tonneau cover for a while and finally but the bullet.

Not a giant fan on the rails not being part of the canvas.

Definitely a tight tight fit.

Tailgate still opens perfectly.

I will have to let you know on the water. It rolls up nice and the cross bars just pop out. The canvas comes completely off the frame.

How exactly does the frame attach to the bed rail? I'm wondering if there's enough room to sneak my under-the-rail bedliner behind the clamps.

It uses 4 clamps. You can position the clamps in different places to avoid obstacles. I had to move mine for my hylift jack

How well do they keep water out of the bed? Easy to roll up to use the bed?

Thx for the info

It's rained the last couple days and the bed is dry.

Four clamps. I'm sure you could fit them with the bed liner.

I loved mine and if you ever lose a rail or need a new cover they have awesome customer service. I managed to bend a rail and they had me a new one within a week.

Can those of you who own this cover verify that it is a no-drill installation?

No drill required. Just clamps to the bed sides.

Sigh....

Just tried to order one of the Downey covers online.  #24 not home yet but it shouldn't be too much longer now.

I'll need to keep that new paint protected as much as possible while the rest of the rebuild continues so I'm trying to be proactive.

Unfortunately... the transaction would not complete so I called them.

No orders at this time.  Recommended a 3mo window to call back...

The world has turned upside down...   I guess I'll buy a buttload of towels and start sewing...

Maybe I'll put a link on the classifieds and sell them.  lol

I do have a cover for the WJ... might work in a pinch in the garage, but outside... I don't think I'd do that.

I haven't even ordered the engine yet.  I don't really have room to store it at the moment...

I wonder how long it'll take to get a Golen? maybe I'd better call them and ask...

Just tried to buy one.  Website lets you put it in the cart but that is it.  I waited too long, I should have bought one last year.  Might give the tonno pro cover a try.
