mjeff87
Probably not most remember him, but Jerry (tjbliley) sadly passed away earlier today. He did have covid, but was already hospitalized with both rectal and liver cancer. RIP Jerry

Eagle
He was dealing with a lot. I hope his passing wasn't too uncomfortable, and that he's now at peace.

mjeff87
Thanks guys, Jerry was a super cool guy and Jeep (especially electrical stuff) guru. Had the patience of a monk. Among other things in his private life, he was a pediatric nurse. It was he and his wife Terry's dream to retire and move to the Keys, which they did a couple years ago. Way too sad for them to only enjoy it for such a short time. His wishes were for cremation, which the family is arranging for now. Terry is planning to move back here to Richmond permanently and will have some sort of service for him here once she does. It doesn't make any kind of sense to me.....at all. Jerry was one of the "good guys" in this world, both personally and professionally. He shouldn't have passed away so young. It gives me pause, my Karma bank account is nowhere near as full as his was.
Pete M
life doesn't always make sense. the key is to enjoy what you have and share smiles with everyone you can. at least they got to enjoy time together in their dream location and make some great memories for her to take forward. :)
buxmj
Thanks for posting Jeff and taking the time to give some insight into the person he was. May his memory be eternal.
Pete M
as is the case with all our fallen CC friends, I've been reading back through some of his posts as a sort of trip down memory lane. I really miss that guy.
