Well, I think the fat lady is singing for the Franken Heep today. Rolled it into a ditch today and crawled out under my own power. Officer said the roof should have collapsed and squashed me (I'm 6'3").

Bent the front beam tube, the gearbox is leaking, and I'm fairly certain the pitman arm got bent, too.cc2aca1f3581cf1be85a6ad8ded01266.jpg

looks fine to me.  seriously, just beat the roof back into shape.  I mean who wants a pristine wheeler anyways. :)

but I may not want it for a daily driver...

Wow, glad your OK but a sad day for Franken heep for sure. Like stated above, beat the roof out and keep driving it. Also I'm a little confused as to how you could bend the pitman arm before anything else. Throw a new tire on it, beat the roof out, inspect it thoroughly, and take her for a spin.

I'm a firm believer in no seatbelts, the roof was on the headrest, I crawled out and went to work the next day butter that I just lifted it and it saw 1 dirt road lol. if your around WA, there is a guy parting out his 97+ swap and has a cab for 200 bucks I think 95c77efddbc93daf0a63bb6b37604f06.jpg

This was the daily. My other ride being fixed is contingent to an ongoing legal battle with the city.

Won't steer to the left more than an inch or two past straight. And I just took a quick look so the pitman may be fine. I didn't really have fresh steering components handy for reference.

I have a good top half of a cab in Kansas if you want it. Everything from the bottom of the A pillar, over the roof, down past the window over to the rusted out cab corners is good and straight.

Glad you made it out okay! The Jeep did its job to keep you safe.

I need to know the story behind that ^

I think we all need to know the story behind that. I mean, hot diggity that thing looks like The Hulk started humping it.

In other news, I managed to find a 98 XJ at the start of August and all I can say is the Lord blessed me beyond measure with that.
