Thunderbear Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/jeep/cherokee/1899514.html?refer=blog It's not my thing, but I can respect the hustle. Would have looked better (and probably been a hell of a lot easier) with an MJ.
Dzimm Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I don't really know what to say. Looks like a humvee or a bad photoshop but it would be nice to have the extra room. I'm wondering how the unibody is held together and if it has an actual frame under now too.
500 MJ Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Ad says it has stock axles.... eeesh. Also, I can only imagine what it looks like under the hood... YUCK!
DirtyComanche Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 I can't imagine having done all that work, and then standing back to look at it and think "Man, that's really really ugly."
ThatJeepGuy Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 only $25k for a fat XJ... that's a lot of work! but why... just why?
Dzimm Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 I really think that whoever buys this is going to do it just because they have $25k laying around and want to say "I've got a widened xj" At least that's the only reason I'd buy it. I don't see any practicality at all. Wonder what the DOT would say at an inspection.

You and I are never going to understand why anyone will buy this XJ....Much less for $25K that the buyer is asking.
Keyav8r Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 I'd like to crawl under it just to see how it was done. From the photos it looks like good worksmanship. But, Photoshop works wonders!
buxmj Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Wow, that thing is fugly, just my opinion, would have been easier to just buy a Commander, resale would be easier also. Buck.
johnj92131 Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Honestly the more I look at it the more I like it. Bet you can get it for much less than $25K. If it floats your boat...GO for it.
