fiatslug87
Walked to my truck after work yesterday and came across this. I just stood in the street stunned, obviously there was no note on my windshield. Looks like a truck tried backing up and hit it, slicing right through the cab, hopefully the security cameras caught something but I'm not counting on it. I filed a hit and run report just in case, although I do not have full insurance on it. On the bright side there may be some parts for you guys. Pete M
been there and it sucks royally :( you're not seriously going to part out your truck over that, are you? yours is still in infinitely better shape than mine. Just need to plug the holes.
HOrnbrod
It's possible, but not probable, that the truck driver that backed into you never knew it. Way back when I was driving a Sunoco tanker and maneuvering in the service station lot to dump some gas at night, I nearly totaled a VW bug backing up and didn't even notice or feel it. DirtyComanche
Wow, that sucks. It could be repaired but it wouldn't be the easiest job.
johnj92131
Truck is repairable. Mine was worse and got fixed very well. Still sucks to come out and find stuff like this. It will take some time to find a shop interested in actually fixing the truck for a fair price. Most shops want to do just insurance jobs.
ParadiseMJ
That sucks. Think of it as an opportunity to get a new paint job. Keep an eye out for a truck with that profile and red paint on it. Looks like a flat bed or even a lift gate?.
