Fellow MJ owner's images (commercial image use) ImageRequest

Hey, I know I'm probably getting that new job and all, but I am also in the beginning stages of building an online store (similar to that of 4wd and quadratec).

I was wondering if anyone here may have an image they would like to donate, that was either taken by yourself, of your own rig, or your camera handed to a fellow off-roader to take a picture while you were doing some obstacle.

The legal part in regular people's terms would be that you are giving me full permission to use the image for commercial use and release all liabilities.

As a compensation, once everything is up and running, I can either discount, or refund part of your purchase, if you so decide to buy anything from me.

My own MJ doesn't qualify for what I'm looking for, as it hasn't met a trail yet, and it needs some surgery to meet a trail.

Any questions? please post below.

The image will be used at either the start page, located at http://swatoffroad.com, or the catalog main page, located at http://swatoffroad.com/cart, or maybe even both. It will be accompanied by several other rigs, most likely jeep, but I am going to try to expand beyond just Jeep products, so it may end up being a Ford Truck, or a buggy or something.

Also, if you have something other than a MJ that you would like to submit, please, by all means, submit it, but it MUST be an image that was taken by you, or of your own rig, for legal reasons.

Might want to redesign your site so it dosn't look so much like RockHard 4x4's..
Working on that. I'm working on alot of stuff for it, but it sounds like I have a huge brand coming aboard, although, they offer nothing more than wheels to fit a MJ...

So what pics of products are you looking for?
Focusing on rims, suspensions, rocker guards, pretty much any accessories. like, if you have it focused on a certain part, just post what it is, so I can blend the picture around it, and make it stand out better.

I think that makes sense.

Oh, and the more hardcore, the better.

YES!

But clearer if at all possible. I can try to work with images like this, but the end result will most likely come out a bit less than desired.

Also, the vehicle taking up more of the picture would be helpful as well.

Action shots are what I am looking for. semi-action, like on an RTI ramp will suffice as well.

What are you going to sell?

I don't have any aftermarket parts on my truck.

Lots of things.

(you have rims and tires!)

I will not actually be making anything, just another reseller, and hopefully get a good reputation, and possibly work close enough with some of the companies to exclusively sell certain lines of products that nobody else sells.

Big names though, with great reputations. Places with crappy reputations, I'm not even thinking twice about for working with them. I also want to work with some of the smaller guys, help get their names out there. Companies can also contact me to sell their stuff through me.

I'm not really in it for the money, theres hundreds, if not, thousands of competitors doing the same thing, so chances of making more than pocket money are fairly slim. I'm more or less in it, to see how far I can get, and how big of a name I can make for myself.

What I want to see, is the consumer receiving a quality product, and have great support behind it, from both the manufacturer, and the distributor. I do see alot of places who sell stuff, and don't care about the customers, once they get their money, and that's not what "quality" is.

This is the type of picture I'm looking for, artistic, shows a ton of detail, character, and still reveals the uniqueness of the vehicle, and it's owner.

I will almost definitely be using this picture.

I have the original if you need it and i will dig to see if I have any in the new paint scheme they might be alittle more unique for this. Hell I would find something to climb on but i broke the MJ yesterday. But i get to start my motor swap early... jamminz.gif

Original would probably be even easier to work with, get a higher quality end result. If you have something like that in the new paint, I'd live to see it.

Engine swap... yea, I gotta get my rear end moving on that...

does it have to be pretty?

mines a "bit" trail rashed, but it's still recognizable.

I like this one:

anyway.

I'm sure lots of pictures will be available of my junk soon. I was pretty popular on lower 2, lots of people watching me do that open/open.

it was a good show.

You want pics? Mmmk

These are all from this last year. I'll have a whole new batch of em once I get it back on the road. Paint color will be changed along with about everything else but the rims/tires... :brows:

These pics don't have much in the line of showing aftermarket parts. I do have some build pics that show the aftermarket parts I do have on it if you are interested in seeing them.

Ok, Gotta have a starter pic to show where it originated from.

I run with the Rusty's 4.5" packs in the rear and 3.5" coils and some spacers in the front. The rear springs are still SUA.

I bought the chrome rollbar from 88swampedmj on here. He took it out of a truck he bought, it looks like its an aftermarket one to me.
