Pete M Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 after years of searching and trading I finally have the collection of NOS parts I need for the artwork on my wall. :D bedside, gas tank door, flare, mudflap, taillight, and bumper end cap. all new old stock parts. I don't yet have all of the necessary hardware, so that's why things look a bit off (held up with tape and binder clips). :( In the far future I'm thinking of painting the bedside '92 Eliminator green. maybe with repo Eliminator decals. closeup of my signed poster and new Archer pin             doing a bit of a happy dance
neohic Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Did you get in contact with Bobby for that poster?
Pete M Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 nah, found it on ebay a few years ago. would have been cooler to meet the man himself for sure.
Pete M Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 by the way, that deep red color of the taillight is now my favorite color. maybe someday I can get a photo that does it justice. it makes my awesome taillight that was previously up there look like total crap! I had no idea how awesome the lights were when new :clapping:
sinkrun Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 DO you need rear flare brackets? I have a set not new will need new bolts welded in not to bad of shape free if you want them.
Pete M Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 I appreciate the offer  but since this will never see 70mph, a couple plain bolts hold it in place pretty good.
HOrnbrod Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Looks great Pete, but can't see all of it. Can you get a shot of the entire bedside on the wall?
Pete M Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 I will once I've cleaned up and unbox some more of my MJ paraphernalia to put on the top shelf.

INjake89mj Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 That Archer pin looks familiar! Looks awesome!
HOrnbrod Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I'm jealous.............. A full front clip with working lights & fogs, grille, & bumper would be nice too.
Pete M Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 well, I've got a couple front ends in decent shape. but that would likely be shop/garage decor since they don't need climate control (also, I'm trying to limit the MJ stuff to just the one wall :rotf:)
FrankTheDog Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I have a mint 1987 aluminum wheel with unused tire on it I'd give you to fill up that wheel well. Just would need some kind of Comanche Club express to get from CT to GA.
Pete M Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 hmmm... interesting idea. :brows: as it is now, there's a bookcase right underneath it, but I guess that probably won't be there forever. I have a feeling I might get some flak from my family for a tire hanging on the wall, but the wheel shouldn't be a problem. :D
Pete M Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 the tape wasn't holing it up very well. need to come up with another plan.
Pete M Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 problem solved! another small chunk of 2x4 saves the day :D

If so, then you do as you please. To mount it to the wall, mount a front wheel bearing to a plate and screw the plate to the wall. That way the tire can spin.
