Kano808
Anyone thought about running exhaust stacks? I know it's pretty pointless and almost retarded to go with exhaust stacks on a gas engine, but my whole thinking behind it is that wouldn't you have to worry less about destroying your exhaust pipes if they only ran a 1/4 to 1/2 way down your truck then shoot up through the bed behind the cab? DirtyComanche
I had a stack on my old truck. It's very pointless. I don't remember why I did it, I think just because it was easier than bending up a new pipe that went all the way to the back. There's a ton of space, as long as you still have leaf springs, to tuck the exhaust up so it won't be damaged. Just run a dump at the rear axle if you're afraid of crushing your tip. Or run it through the bumper if you're ballsy. But if you want to do it, it's your truck. Keep if mind if you put anything in then bed you will need a heatshield around it. Edit. Just saw you said stacks, implying two. That would be harder than just running the exhaust out of the back and even more pointless.

HOrnbrod
I was going to do mine a bit differently so they wouldn't stand out so much - go through the canopy roof. In chrome of course........
Kano808
Haha roughly the replies I figured I would get. I'll probably just figure out a good path to run it through the back.
daking
I ran my exhaust out the side. I think it looks better, and helps keep it from rock damage. Image Not Found Image Not Found

AMCJeepMJ
Why stop with bed stacks when you can go 10/10ths with bosozoku exhaust? Since stacks are to get attention and all, this is the logical evolutionary next step.
