Unfortunately, I did not see your install pics till after I payed. I only seen Brandons few pics that were just the rail. I mentioned it to Brandon that yours looked skewed in the pics today but thought it was camera angle. Honestly man I would send it back but nervous about my money, mainly because you said that yall discussed these things previously but he acted like it didn't exist. I also spent close to 400$ with the guy but he only wants to text no phone call and his reply he is working, but he could text me a book? I would have been happier with I'm working ill call you later, but holding a 20 minute text conversation with me made me feel like he was avoiding talking to me.

They look a little odd, but I would hardly say they look like S#!7 either.  Just my 2 cents.  I tend to allow for a bit of oddness if there is a function behind it, and you mocked that function in your first post.  There is a difference between an honest (which means impartial) and emotionally charged review of something.  I hope it ends up how you want it in the end.  Should be a relatively simple fix.

I've never talked to him on the phone, text only. I'm sure I've had more interaction with him than anyone else. He doesn't have enough service to make a phone call at work. He can barely send texts. I deal with this same issue every day at work also. It's great having a voicemail with no missed calls. He is a honest guy. I've never meet him in person but I had no problem sending him over $600 for my stuff.

Seems to me like this would have been easily fixed with a single piece of .500 FB, drilled to match, on each side to shim them?

I think that would work but since there are no actual adjustment to the set allen screws I will have them welded in place then moved down 1/2" I am also gonna cut rear post off to have another welded on correct length and also have the plate welded on at correct angle because it is not. There are so many things wrong with these it isn't even funny, very poor design! My truck is used as a trail rig/DD when I tell you they look bad that is an understatement they are hideous from a distance they actually look bent! Plus the only customer service I have received is from a friend of the guy (Shelby)!

issues need to be fixed Buyers Beware.

Also your drawing must not have translated well because my rear leg 5 3/4" also take a little lower pic of the rail itself that your hiding! Dude I have ocd it looks horrible!

the drawing says 6" yes. i cut them down 1/4" so the clamps would work better and use a shorter set screw.

did this in front and rear. so thats not the "problem".

I don't have them but in all honesty I still give him credit for designing something not readily available. Will it have flaws, absolutely. But consider the fact these are the first run/prototypes. For ANY vendor or fabricator to improve/fix a design, "field tests" and honest feedback are required. Just my opinion.

No doubt, but when you call someone tell them something that is obvious and they do nothing but explain to you why your wrong with everything from width of the axle to the way your looking at them! bump that!

i wasnt explaining why you were wrong. i was giving you the facts about how and why they were built the way they were.

they werent designed to follow the body line. plain and simple.

That's fine man I honestly knew you would have the same spill as Brandon and I don't think he is gonna change them? I know he is gonna do nothing to help me out in anyway. Like I said should have went with RR sliders they are pricey but correct and cosmetically appealing! These look like $#!& plain and simple the welds are exceptional design is very weak!

i never said i wasnt gonna help you out. i gave you the option to return them and get a full refund.

they are not built wrong so I'm not going to spend money for you to build them your way/"the right way"

Not gonna let u be out any money for me bud (shipping is almost 200$ fixing them will be cheaper!), I'm a grown man that made a decision and I must live with it this has nothing to do with you Shelby. I didn't get on here to get a refund. Like i said, I wouldn't have even posted if Brandon would have acknowledged this and said i will post this issue and let people know that this is the way the rails are built, before someone else spends 376$ but that is not what happened I got bogus excuses and attempted justification for the issue that is glaringly obvious? I'm just posting for the next guy before he/she spends that much money and receives something he/she wasn't expecting . I would also like to add these issues are purely cosmetic the build quality is exceptional, and for someone that doesn't mind those cosmetic issues these rails will be a great purchase.

and i never said i wouldnt post on here about them.

there were pictures posted before you sent money and you had just as much time as everybody else to look at the pictures more carefully or ask questions if you had any.

ive messaged the 6 people that have preordered and told them to look at your pictures specifically and the 5 that have messaged back have said that they intend to pursue their purchase with me and see no need for me to modify them to your standards.

i have no problem refunding you your money  and i didnt act like this "problem" didnt exist. there isnt a problem because they are built exactly how they were designed.

this is Bo's design and they were what he wanted. and i think it works with no problems.

if you would have came to me to have some built i would have built them exactly how you wanted them.

so if youre wanting to return them and get your money back you can. but once they are returned i won't "fix" them to how you want them for free. there would be an additional charge for me to change them.

i can't change everybodys sets for free or else everyone will want something different done to theirs.

i also hopes that everybody interested in buying a set off me reads this and knows, one more time, how these sliders fit the MJ.

thanks, Brandon.

Look bro as stated Shelby pics were posted 1-2 days ago and immediately there were questions mine arrived thursday! I also asked you to give me a call and tried to call you! Work? fine I understand so what's the problem now or after work? I'm a little to old school for customer service to be coming through a dang text message sorry! Also I'm not gonna return these things and eat shipping nor do I want your friend to have to pay for it. Bottom line is I made the mistake I will fix them myself. If my ride was a hunting truck maybe I could let it slide because functionality is there but I get in and out this thing everyday no way can I look at that! The pics are very disguising of the issues whether that is intent or not they look way more awkward in person! I'm on a ride now at the moment I've been asked or questioned more than ten times about them "how did I bend them, or you know you mounted those crooked" people can buy them if they want to.

Buyers have been warned!

I have the Rocky Road outfitters sliders, which I had to weld on to make work so I can't praise their designing and fitment very well either.

I think Krustys sliders look great, I wouldn't be afraid to run em on my trucks.

Without having a pair you can say that all day these things are far too low and crooked as hell!

Which RR sliders do you have? The standard sliders or the supersliders with the rail?

Supersliders on an XJ. Also super-expensive...........

OK guys here is the deal was gonna send these things back but instead of krusty arranging a drop off or pick up with his ups business account and having them shipped. Then reimbursing me 290$ with me eating the original shipping. He wants me to ship them on my own which will cost me 200$ for an individual which defeats the point! Also all these has been relayed through text!

Talk is cheap on a forum!

BUYERS BEWARE

Super sliders. I'm more than happy with them after installing them in 2012, but they took a lot of muscling to get on there

Price Terminal to terminal freight with terminal pickup at destination.  I shipped a complete rear axle assembly that way for way cheaper than what UPS or Fed Ex could quote me.  Just something I learned when I used to run OTR and Line Haul. R&L Carriers tends to be a good one.

Thanks guys! I will check pricing he has since said he will see what he can figure out on Monday? We will see I will wait for a response, which I'm sure will come in text form, still have not spoke with him on the phone!

What's wrong with that? I do most of my work conversations by text because as was explained to also be the case for Brandon, where I work cell service is patchy at best. Sometimes it takes three or four tries just to get a message sent, and I've had often had the incoming message icon flashing for five to ten minutes before the entire message came through.

Also if he's texting you, it means you've got his personal cell number. Try getting that from another parts manufacturer... pretty personal customer service if you ask me.
