Pete M Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 It looks like I will be driving to Birmingham in about a month and since I know we have several members nearby, I figure we should meet up. somewhere. the thing is, I need info on what is near there that is a worthwhile place to meet up. doesn't have to be in Birmingham proper. It needs to be something fairly simple and cheap, but better than a walmart parking lot. for example, I hear there is a racing museum Birmingham (barbermuseum.org) or Talladega has the hall of fame. and before you ask, I don't think we can do a trail ride as not everyone going will have a 4x4.

But if i do go it will be in my Hybrid, i can't afford to feed MJ on a 658 mile round trip. Ill be keeping tabs on this thread and will let everyone know if i can make it! :driving:

Assuming you're looking at a weekend meeting, I'm in for the 12th-13th or 26th-27th, out on the 19th-20th. We need a date first to get an estimate of the number who will participate in order to determine where we could meet.

I might bring the trailer along. it's half an MJ so that kinda counts. :yes: no date just yet because I don't yet know when I'm driving to birmingham. should know soon though. right now I just want to pin down a destination.

Might keep that in mind also. I would show up for a Montgomery or Birmingham AL get together.

Awaiting time and date. I find out tomorrow when the Dr. is doing my shoulder surgery. I might get lucky and be off work.
