I've emailed the contact twice on the site, but to ZERO reply...kinda suspicions...I couldn't find much here on them, so thought I'd ask. i really like the bumpers, but don't want to send my money off and never get one :( :doh: Any good/bad experiences with them recently? Crash Posted December 10, 2015 Share Posted December 10, 2015 He advertised BF deals and such over at NAXJA. So, I'm certain he is up and running. I bought one of his stubby recovery bumpers. I have not seen "wings" for them, but it would appear that the current gen of his bumpers are based on the stubby or vice versa. Would be nice to have a "wing option" , but I will more than likely have some tube bent up and welded to the stubby at some point. One thing I do appreciate about Max's bumper setups is that they come with the frame tie in's. And are actually built to run with front front stiffeners. He even has his own version of front stiffie/bumper tie in's. If I could afford his full length bumper, I would have bought it instead of the stubby. But, sometimes that is how it goes. Then....he just vanished. I wanted the bumper to act as a hidden winch mount. My plan was to mount the stock bumper in front of the ORS. I actually talked to the owner in 2012 (or 2013) about my plan and he thought it would work well if I ordered without the D ring mounts. When I was ready to order communication stopped. I too hate the 'TV tray' look most XJ/MJ winch bumpers have. I think Rustys now has a bumper that puts the winch under the radiator. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The flush look is great, but I agree there's a bit more protection due for the header panel, headlights, etc. I wonder if a brush guard like mikekaz1's could be implemented...
