Shoot, that truck is about what all the MJ's look like for sale around here. The value is what ever you are willing to pay for it.

:yeah that:

Being in MO, where the dirt is so acidic it rots your truck, sucks. Thats what most all of em look like around here. I got lucky i guess  :hmm:

... if a person could get some cab-corners it looks like the rest could be dealt with  easy enough. then it might be good for a wheeler. but ya. i wouldnt pay more than $100. over scrap value.

Being that I have 4 Comanches, 2-'91 Eliminators, a '90 Eliminator and a '91 Sport Truck....... I have a soft spot for 'em.  That truck used to be a nicely equipped Eliminator.  Unfortunately I agree that it's too far gone to restore.  But it does have a lot of really great parts.

Here in Colorado, that truck would bring $800 tops to a collector like me.  In general though, just as a running driving truck........ probably $500-$700.  Scrap value out here would be around $400.

Is that truck in Lincoln NE?

Are you looking to buy it?  If not, I might be interested in cruising out there to get it if the price is right.........

yellaheep, It is in Lincoln. I will be going out there later today to see about a test drive and what they are asking for it. I'd consider buying it but really don't have the money for it or space to keep it.

UPDATE- attempted to get a test drive but the seller was unable to get the truck to start. Possibly out of gas with a non-working fuel gauge. lol. He was asking $1500, I commented that as part of a consensus between the group that the truck was worth $5-800. He said he wouldnt do that. History of the truck- PO was a retired conductor for the railroad that had over 200 vehicles on his property and never did anything with them. This truck had not ran for 5 years, the seller's mechanic had to do some wiring work to get it running.

I've seen better Comanche's scrapped.

Indeed....... unfortunately, I've scrapped better Comanche's...... but not after rendering them void of all good useable parts.

Sounds like he will remain the proud owner of a 91 Comanche.... :D

Yeah, at $1500 that truck will remain lot art.
