Alexia Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 '90 2WD 4.0L $10500, i'll try to post a video laterThis one? http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=357&aid=467
relyt120 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 looks great on the outside but the interior isnt even all the same color, for 10.5k I'd want the interior a little nicer
HOrnbrod Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 This Scrambler went for $19,800. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=333&aid=467
yellaheep Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 I like how the description on the Barrett Jackson listing says it was a complete restoration "nothing was missed on the build of this truck".......... except the interior. That truck still has an old-school tape deck stereo........ I'm seriously considering submitting my all original '90 Eliminator for this kind of auction if a shiny paint job is all it takes to get big bucks. Seems my '90 with it's nice interior, D44, full skid package could fetch good money......... if I ever get around to replacing the blown motor and getting it painted...... lol.
jimoshel Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Why bother replacing it? Just advertise it as 'fuel conservative'
BIGHEEP Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 If you listen to the auctioneer he says its a "4x4". I wonder how pissed the buyer was when he realise it is 2WD.
ftpiercecracker1 Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 From what i can tell, the only things going for the truck are the lift, paint, rims, and tires. Its not 4x4, not a 92, not a special package, no skid plates, no cd player, not even a full cluster. Interior doesnt match and there is a very large defect on the steering column. Kinda looks like its been scraped really bad. Who ever bought this truck had no idea how much money they just blew for nothing. They could have found one just as nice on craigslist for a 1/4 of that and spent the rest of the money making it into the sickest MJ to ever roll down the road. Seriously, if thats how much a truck like this sold for, i know for a fact there are 15-20k dollar trucks on this site.
MJRemi Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Don't be hatin'! A rising tide raises all ships! Maybe sales like this can bring more value to all our trucks (or not). I really liked the Scrambler that Don posted and there was a blue 1st Gen Bronco 1/2 cab that looked pretty sweet. I was hoping to see a Ranchero since I've been eyeballing a few on CL in So. Cal.
