Though I don't post religously, I do post as can be seen that it's not my first post. With that said this is the only forum that I am a member of where other members nitpick everything that is posted such as if you say its never been taken out of the box, how did you get a picture of it. Come on guys!!!!! Are we that narrow minded to not know that Never out of the box is probally just a restatement that its brand new, never installed, still have the boxes and original plastic, etc.? I think these people should get a life and realize that being a smartass sometimes makes you look like a dumbass. Once again this is the only forum where I experience this problem. Rest assured that I can get knowledge else where and really don't need this hassle. Just wanted to inform you that a lot of these members probally shouldn't have a Jeep let alone a lifted one. johnny quest Posted March 10, 2013 Share Posted March 10, 2013 who pissed in your wheaties this morning? id say quite the opposite about this site; that people here are down to earth, and that they are genuine about the assistance they offer and the advice they give. there are other 4x4 related sites that i've had friends turn their tail on because of the insane amount of flaming and finger pointing. one of the reasons i come back to CC time and time again, other than the wealth of comanche knowledge, is that my 'internet friends' (as my gf calls them) would most likely be friends in real life if we ever meet; other sites, not so much. This is my first MJ, not my first Jeep, and have learned a lot of mj specific info here. If I didn't think it was a good place to hang, I wouldn't. Want to see some really opinionated, my stuff is the best, yours is crap, nothing currently made is worth spit, cruise on over to Moparts. Virtually anything you post will be picked apart. I have read other forums, not a member but just passing through, and I do see a lot of cruel comments to a person who just might not be as knowledgeable about the topic and they get bashed for being a novice. But not here, everyone is very humble about knowing more than the next person. And always giving good advice. Its too bad you don't feel the same way as most of us do on here. dasbulliwagen Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Ive been on here long enough to have seen, and been the target of issues like this, but they are extremely few and far between, and are usually moderated very well to take care of any problem children. don't let a couple issues like this cause you to get a bad taste from this site. I don't know your particular history of issues though. And it seems like you have your mind made up already. Just maybe step back from it for a while an come back later . This place is worth it. This is the most polite forum I have ever been on. He could have said here's another craigslist idiotic listing like so many others. Your kit is not new in the box its new in a OPEN box or new with no box that way someone who does not know whats in a lift kit could do some checking on line before buying it to make sure its complete and nothing missing. In contrast, there are a ton of guys who really know their MJ s&@t and readily share it. Don't walk away from a great resource over a difference in opinion on how something should be phrased. One thing I'm learning as I grow older (and I'm pretty well on the way) is that about 98% of the crap I've ever gotten PO'ed over didn't matter a few days later.
