The Brits buys them, but then sends them to their Irish neighbors.

When I worked with the Brits, I never could stomach beans for breakfast or mayo on chips (french fries) and everything else that wasn't a bean, but they were equally disgusted by my mass consumption of salsa and jalapenos. Their idea of hot sauce is humorous, but my idea of hot sauce would be deadly to the average Brit.

 

BTW, don't call a Welshman, or an Englishman, or a Scot a Brit. Damn sure don't call call an Irishman a Brit.
