Sorry I couldn't help it but it appears you might need to invest in a big liquor cabinet. What is that in the background?

Buck.

Nah you don't need a wallet you just need somek e to help you reinvest that money. So i guess i'll be the one to step up and offer the service and let you invest in my jeep.

I already looked at the auction listing for monday....didn't see any XJs and just a while bunch of WJs. I'm not really in the mood for another WJ right now.

Thats a bunch of different hard alcohol that I produce down in my basement. Rums, gins, etc etc.

My wallet is feeling pretty empty right now, so feel free to overflow into mine. I finally got fed up with my appliances, and this just happened about an hour ago.

Your counter top is too cluttered. You should have gone with stainless, only because you can't get chrome appliances anymore.

Had a black fridge already. Plus, I like the look of some sleek black appliances best. Counter is cluttered because of the activities. Looking forward to putting that center burner in action. Going to be a lot more cook/work space for all my pots and pans once I get stews/soups going.

Stews, soups, aye, best food there is this time of year. I can't cook, but Mama is goooood. We have an olde restored Jenn-Air circa 70's electric downdraft stainless range/oven that she prefers over all the modern stuff. Does miracles with it. Easy to fix when it breaks too. :D

So much for Sam's new wallet...............

You're going to "Comanchefy" those too, right? Maybe a dash clock on the dishwasher and a gauge cluster with working temp gauge on the stove? Maybe figure out a timer in the odometer. Throw in a Chief striped hood as a dinner table and you've got a pretty snappy kitchen set!

Comment to OP: People still carry cash?

Comment to hi-jack: I had the same range/oven in my house in NJ. Great unit and loved the center burner for cooking up long strips of bacon.

Comment to OP: People still carry cash?

Not many people buy/sell cars using a credit card.

Nonsense. Last Jeep I bought was using an offer my credit card company had given me. 12 month 0% APR on a cash advance AND they waived the fee. A free loan, courtesy of my credit card. Also earned $30 in cash-back bonus points just for paying it off.

Ya well I don't take credit cards. Just cash, and even if I used a card to buy a vehicle, I would transmit the currency in the form of cash to the seller.

That's basically what I did, except I wrote her a certified bank check. Cash is cool, but I don't like carrying too much of it for too long ;)

:agree: When I have cash, it seems like I spend it way faster than spending money on a card. It's like I somehow think it's free money and just throw it around.

Ah, too many fake "certified" checks out there. To me they are just about as trustworthy as a personal check. If you want to pay with either, before I give you the title and vehicle we goto your bank and I cash them immediately. So you might as well just bring cash.
