My 86 is two tone silver and charcoal with all red interior. Also has bucket seats, 2.5, 5spd, 2wd, metric ton, full gauge dash except for tach.

This truck is also a darker silver outside does anyone have a 92 sales book that shows the colors avaible? This truck has good options it is a pionner, 4.0, aw4, 4x4, ac, tilt wheel and bucket seats!

Red isn't all that rare, but not exactly common either.

You said you had a 92? What does the build date on the door read?

What you have in the 92 if it's original is a Cordovan, (color #A7SA) interior, not red. It's a dark burgundy color, like the 91 Wagoneer below. Red or Garnet was not offered.

No sheite carnuck. Red or Garnet was not offered after 1990. It was considered too passé by the stylists. But what do they know? They thought the same thing about the black interior.

Seen a few reds, but figured they were pretty common. I always had a thing for the red/burgandy interiors....

Another question (that I don't want to start a new thread for) is about the Turquoise(?) trim. Picture is pretty old, but will suffice. I have YET, to see another Comanche with this trim design except for one other (which was an 86). Do I have rare trim here?

Very common on both the Comanche and Cherokee.

What color interior is the rarest? I assume that beause Comanches and early Cherokees are quickly dissapearing that we think we have a odd ball but in reality its more comon than we realze. Thank you for all of the replies it is very interesting!

The black interior is by far the rarest, and very sought after.

My '87 is Black interior with red exterior, the one I'm swiping the 2wd AW4 from (I have an AW4 4x4 trans and NP231 to go in or at least with it) is blue interior.

I have an 86 with the blue interior. Others are saying it is common, but I seem to be having a time finding blue parts for it.

Same here. I've found VERY few and far between blues. 1 MJ (for sale here on the Club) and a Cherokee w/ blue in my local P&P that somebody had completely destroyed most, if not all the useful interior parts in some way when dismantling the interior. :fs1:

My 86 had a red (maroon?) interior when I got it. I swapped it over to a black interior out of an 87 parts truck I picked up. I wouldn't have thought it was rare at all, unlike the black.
