So who's had MJ's the longest, the most MJ's the most miles on MJ's, etc etc... I know I'm not even in the running, but here goes: Bought my first & second MJ's in 1996 (LWB, then a SWB). Both were daily drivers, followed by 2 more daily drivers since then (SWB's, still have both). I don't rack up many miles, lucky to put 5k miles on an MJ a year, so I'd say less than 50-60k MJ miles in the last 15 years. Next.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've had it just for this year, but I've worked on it for years. It has over 200K on it. I don't drive it much. Am fixing it up. Blue88Comanche Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 My first MJ "Blue" was bought by my grandfather in 1988 he had it till 2008 when i got my drivers license. in the past six months i have acquired two more "red" and "black", the plan for them is to get them running for my dad and little brother. also in the last six months or so i bought a 61 CJ5 and a 89 XJ, mom got a 03 liberty. No longer a daily driver, it has earned its spot in the garage. I have put a few thousand miles a year on it since 04, so it was driven pretty hard up until 04. Wow. What did you do with them all? Wisconsin rust already had it's say. I salvaged all comanche specific parts and scrapped the rest. Probably scrapped just over half of them. "the most MJ's" Just one. "the most miles on MJ's," As I recall, bought the Comanche second hand with 58,000 km, currently has about 516,000 km = 458,000 kms/275,000 miles. "etc etc..." Same motor except for spark plugs, dist. caps and rotors, starters, water pump and various o rings.
