Automan2164
Agree. I think you should be able to carry a weapon until you prove that you can't control yourself or are unsafe. Rob L. :USAflag:

comanche13
haha if you come to Canada you can't even go shoot your hand gun in the mountain you have to go to the range and phone the cops to tell them your driving with it.
500 MJ
Amen. :USAflag: As it is with most cases (not just gun control) if we didn't have the unprofessional lawyers to "interpret" our constitution, bill of rights, laws, etc., The US would be a MUCH better place. The sad thing is that they found a way to make lots of money doing what they do and MONEY and GREED is what drives people, not common sense. And it is YOU and I that are paying them to keep doing what they do, whether we want to or not. freakjeep93
i agree with that 100% but up here in canada we arnt allowed any of that stuff. :fs1: thats why i carry a rather naasty pocketknofe all the time. in place of t he gun

CWLONGSHOT
You got to be 25 here in Missouri before you can get CW permit, and I'll be damned if that ain't the very first thing I do that morning on my 25Th b-day :D That's EXACTLY what I did the day I turned 21... 23 years ago!! :D I haven't shot that Lil Ruger!! How do you like it?? As a rule sans the 1911 & the Browning HI-Power, I'm not a huge fan of carring an auto for PP. But I have sure owned a bunch thru the years!! I saw a review on one on one of the sporting channels. Looked pretty good. I like my 638 S&W for 75% of my carrying needs. Otherwise its my 45 LWT Commander. freakjeep93
I'm gunna chime in with my fav handgun. i like the FN FiveseveN auto. ive never shot one not handled one but its got a killer round. and the p 90 smg i wish canadans could buy them but of course were not allowed even the long larreled 10 ropund clip semi ato one. so al ive3 got is a remington nylon 66 and a new england firearms 12 gauge break. we got lots of other guns but there not mine
sinkrun
I hope to shot the LCP friday I have been on the net for a couple hours trying to decide which holster type to get. I have a couple of larger handguns a 1911 colt 45 and a colt special police 38 I was looking for something for summer when wearing shorts and going to the mall etc where it would never be seen. I am also allowed to carry at work as long as its out of sight. I just sold a couple of 25 autos that were way to small. Worst part is the 380 ammo is scarce around here right now. Puritan21
The LCP has a long trigger pull, but that's expected. If you are using it your going to be close anyway...(sticking it close to someone's gut). I have a wallet type holster that is great when wearing shorts. Also have a pocket clip that I put on it. The clip is for a Kel-tec, but it fits great. I have an ankle holster on order.
wallisek
Sinkrun, have you looked at a smaller 1911 variant? I carry a fullsize Govt MKIV model most of the time but during the summer or depending on my clothes I'll carry my Colt Commander. Small profile, lighter than it's bigger brother, and conceals very nicely. 7+1 round capacity as well.

DJM/78
Personal weapon of choice , Springfield XD . .40 Combat Arms . Issue model . ( no safety ) I've seen 380's and 9 mil's go right through people without any resistance . They keep running and might eventually bleed out, but never the less you have to shoot them again. If your going to carry, there is no point in using a weapon that you might have to shoot the S.O.B more than seven times, they might just have time to shoot you back!! No offense , the 380's and 9 mil's are perfect for accuracy , round cap. and ease of carry . However , I prefer the .40 , .357 , 10 mil. and .44 , for overall peace of mind. The newer models have faster fire rate , more round cap. and are far more accurate than the older models. Dave M. U.S ARMY AIRBORNE INF. Ft. campbell Ky. Ft. Benning Ga.
