On Jan 17th, my wife and I will be taking an early vacation to Disneyland California. Then up to San Francisco, Windsor and then home. So we will be gone for 9 days or so.

I'm planning on driving the MJ to see how it will do on the open road. Also to see if I have any problems as well because we would like to do a two week trip to Washington D.C. later in 2009.

So I was wondering where everyone lives so I can plot it out on a map so if I get into trouble I can find some help. Maybe we can set up a get together as well. jamminz.gif

Can't help much with your Cali. trip, however I do live in North East(yes that's the name of the town) MD. So if you do go to DC later this year or is it next year :dunno: keep me informed and if you need help you sure will be able to call me, although DC is still 2 hours or so away not to far to help out a fellow jeeper. comanche.gif

If you have any problems on the way down, gimme a call. I live about 10 minutes from Disneyland, but I'd be willing to drive to northern LA County if you needed any assistance.

I'll PM you my phone number.

northern LA county jamminz.gif about 30 min from six flags magic mountain

Cool. Now if Mike breaks down up there, I won't have to go. :D

I still got you covered from the San Fernando Valley to Orange County. And it looks like the meet-and-greet on Monday is gonna have a real good turnout.

Man, I just don't get these threads. Planning a trip and arranging backup help along the route if ya break down? If you feel your junk isn't worthy, don't drive it.

It's just good to know that you have friends along the way. And non-Jeep related problems can also arise.

Like a GF threatening you with a tire iron causing you to get out of the vehicle 400 miles from home and start hitch hiking with 34 dollars in your wallet.
