That was impressive, the knife edge to a landing was an amazing cap to a stunning recovery. The fact that he stuck it out and brought it down instead of just using his chute at letting it smack into the ground (and possibly spectators) speaks worlds.

I used to fly fixed wing a little back in the day at Fort Eustis and loved to crab into a crosswind and stick the landing at the last second. But with one wing?? No way = dead meat.

That CG was terrible lol

Ya, that was pretty bad.

Come on now..... I hate to say it but I call BS.

Why?

See above.

Its a fake. I'm sorry. Check the writing on the wing.. The left wing has nothing when he's ascending then has something written on it when it had "landed"

Fake as the day is long. Watch the last couple frames before it 'lands'.. planes don't act like that, ever. The rudder's deflected the wrong way, etc.

Now, it is based off the same thing happening with an R/C plane, and that one is real, and amazing. The r/c pilot doesn't even miss a beat. He's a pro, did the r/c stuff in 'flyboys' and so on.

Yes,

When I first seen the clip I thought COOL. But then I got to see the clip on my big screen at work and then looked at the KillaThrill web site. They state it's a Giles G-300 :huh???: Only 1 G-300 was ever built in full scale and that is not the one  Now Carden Aircraft did build a few 40% Giles G-300. And the one below was my G-300 I had back in 2001 :clapping:
