I'm having trouble locating a Filler Neck Replacement. I'm not looking for the hose. I want the metal filler with the overflow/breather piece. If someone could provide me with a pn or link to a replacement. It would be greatly appreciated. 1992 Jeep Comanche 4.0L, Ax15, SB, 18 gallon Tank

So I recently went to a junk yard and I saw a Comanche, so I started to dig for parts and I got some stuff that I have no clue what I got but it looked like it may come in handy in the long run, any clue on what I have, everything came out of a 91 comanche, thank y’all !

Hey all I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section but I was at pick n pull today and they had a Comanche sad to see but happy day for parts lol, anyway it was pretty far gone but there was a few pieces I grabbed before I left like the chrome front grill and the side vents that have been spray painted black I figured someone on here would be searching for these so I figured I would post it up here and see if anyone was interested before it goes into the sea of old parts lol I'll post pictures of them in a few once my phone charges up some

Hi! I am trying to find a short box roll bar for my 89. I am also looking for a sliding rear window for my truck, as it is a feature that my family has had in other trucks and I would like one for my truck. I do not need but I would like a tailgate for my truck as mine has a lot of dents and a bit of rust. I am also looking for an AX-15 as my truck is an early 89 with the Puke-goat. I would consider traveling 1.5 hours to get parts. I am parting out a 97 Cherokee. I would be interested in trading parts for parts. I may also consider buying a whole truck for parts. As part of my rebuild I ordered replacement straps for one of my universal joints. According to rockauto it is the correct strap (UJ43710) But it is shallower than the original, so that the ends of the strap are not touching the mount, but sit off about 1/8 of an inch on each side. This does not look as strong to me. I don't know if there is a better brand for this part (mine are SKF), or if this is a generic part, and all that is available in this day and age. Anyone have experience with this?

I have to do a major floor repair on my 86 Comanche. Does anyone have a source for the reinforcement channels that go on top of the floor pans? I would really, really, prefer not to have to make them.

Hello, I just bought a 1986 Comanche X with a 4 cylinder and 5 speed manual. It also has the 7 foot bed. It is in pretty good shape and is mostly all stock. I think it may have the Rusty's suspension 2 inch lift kit in it, it seems slightly taller and had Rusty's shocks and steering stabilizer. I plane to keep it pretty much stock. I also have a JK Unlimited Rubicon with a ton of mods, and a Hemi Commander on Old Man Emu suspension. I bought the Comanche for lumber store runs, hauling yard stuff, and other pickup truck duties. I've drove it 3 hours to get it home from where I bought it, and it's a cool little truck. All 3 of my Jeeps are silver too, matched set. I have some questions: Where is a good place to buy stock replacement parts? The hose from the air box to the throttle body has a rip. I can make a universal hose work, but I thought I would also try to find a OEM one for the best fit and quality (maybe on the quality) I would also like new turn signal lenses. There are cracks in a few of mine and the are pretty faded. There is some other stuff I need to fix to make really nice, headliner is missing, seat has a few small rips and the foam kind of sucks, horn button is missing, and I would like to replace all the weather stripping. What oil do these little 2.5 engines like? I am guessing they are not too picky. I have not had a small American engine before. I have had many European cars from the 70's and 80's and ran Castrol 20/50 in the summer and 10/40 in the winter with good results. I found that the recommended oil is 10/30. Should I stick with that? I think I will change the engine oil tomorrow and maybe the gearbox, transfer case and diff's too. I also have to bleed the clutch and flush out the brake fluid. I am an over maintainer. I take care of a Eurocopter EC 135 Medevac Helicopter as a job, and fix, maintain and modify small airplanes and helicopters as a side business in my hangar. I have to say that this is one of the nicer forums I have looked at as far as the posts and replies. I hardly look at the Jeep JK forums due to off subject posts and constant flaming and harassment between members. I am glad I found this forum. David Chelan WA.

hi my name is brad and I live in west palm beach fl (south florida) and I'm looking for a donor jeep Cherokee, it doesn't have to be running but at least fairly intact. I'm sure ya'll must be getting tired of hearing about all these guys converting their comanches to 4x4 but that's my plan. yes I know it would be much easier to just buy a Comanche that's already 4x4 but mine has sentimental value and unfortunately is only 2x4 . . that just the ways life is I guess. . anyways the parts I'm killing my self looking for individually are . . . . 5 SPEED 4x4 AX-15 (internal slave) NP231 / NP231j transfer case DANA 30 FRONT AXLE (I need to check my rear gear ratio .or use both axle from the donor) FRONT DRIVESHAFT any help would be really appreciated ive been working on getting my old truck (MY FIRST VEHICLE) back on the road for over a year now and have tons of new parts ready to go on including a brand new crated motor and I just want to get this out of the way first THANK yOU brad

Ok guys I'm kinda new to the world of jeeps but I'm looking to get some more power out of my renix 4.0. What are some parts. (Cheap bolt ons) I could get to build more power. I've already made a cold air ram air intake for it. And she's got after market exhaust. What else can I do!? It's got stock injectors I'm going to swap to quadrajets soon. What have you guys done to push more ponies? Thanks guys.
